Mentioning open-world classics, "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is an unavoidable standard. Released almost 15 years ago, it boasts extraordinary freedom and a vibrant mod ecosystem, keeping it a hot topic among players with many still immersed in it today.

For this reason, since Bethesda declared they were developing Elder Scrolls 6, it has been burdened with countless expectations. Fans have waited patiently for years, wishing it could outshine the previous installment. However, a recent leak from a Bethesda employee has dampened spirits, suggesting that the new game might struggle to fully satisfy the growing high hopes in terms of gameplay innovation and content depth, sparking intense discussion.

In fact, breaking free from the shadow of a classic in the gaming industry is no easy feat. Only by daring to think outside the box and committing to innovation can a game truly rejuvenate itself. "World of Warships" is one such title that consistently pursues innovation, introducing aircraft carriers and submarines to transform naval battles into three-dimensional strategic contests.

The recent 15.0 update introduced the E-class battleships, which break traditional battleship roles by offering exceptional versatility. Initially, many players stuck to the conventional approach, relying on main guns as their primary damage source, but found it unsatisfying.

However, once they started using torpedoes as their main weapon, they quickly changed their minds—after all, which battleship's torpedoes are on par with those of destroyers? The precision and explosive power of the torpedoes brought a fresh experience to naval combat, enabling both long-range main gun suppression and close-range torpedo strikes.

Its unique torpedo arrangement and tactical flexibility not only addressed controversies around main guns but also opened a new gameplay path for battleships. Coupled with radar and an on-demand boost system, plus strong anti-air capabilities, the E-class battleships' multipurpose role is further enhanced. This bold break from tradition is key to "World of Warships" maintaining its popularity.

Besides exploring different battleship gameplay, "World of Warships" is also enthusiastic about collaborations, launching many interesting crossovers. Recently, it revived a partnership with "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," featuring stunning themed ship skins and uniquely voiced commanders.

Two ships feature these crossover skins: the classic coal-powered cruiser Naples, whose commanders are the four main characters; and the Tier 10 D-class battlecruiser Schlieffen, commanded by the villain Shredder.
The Naples skin fully captures the Ninja Turtles vibe, covered in the protagonists’ signature green and yellow colors with gray sewer concrete accents. It also sports pizza icons in various spots, paying tribute to their love of pizza.

Similarly, the Schlieffen skin reflects Shredder’s aggressive style, featuring his trademark purple with red highlights. The hull and gun barrels are adorned with his signature claw marks, and the bridge area is decorated with sharp blades, making it highly distinctive.

Of course, beyond skins, another highlight of the collaboration is the commanders. This time, building on the previous group of four main characters plus Shredder and Krang, the official roster added the heroine April O’Neil and Master Splinter, nearly completing the set.

Obtaining them is straightforward: just open the collaboration supply crates (excluding April and Splinter). A clever touch is that, to honor the anime’s pizza-loving protagonists, the supply crate’s design mimics a pizza box, adding a fun element. Supply crates can also be redeemed using supply vouchers.

Regarding innovation, "World of Warships" has consistently performed well. It excels in introducing new mechanics and battleship roles, and its collaboration skins are daring and creative. The current 15.0 version event is still ongoing—let’s set sail and conquer the seas together!
