Hello everyone, I am Game Xiaodi.
In Honor of Kings, the significance of economy is obvious, and average gold per minute is something many players care about. Generally, top lane heroes don't earn much gold, with Ma Chao being the highest because he frequently goes to mid lane to leech experience, resulting in a higher average gold per minute due to his high mobility. However, Xiaodi believes that Liu Bang can also achieve this, and even more; Ma Chao can only eat two lanes, while Liu Bang can eat three lanes simultaneously, which is definitely an unconventional playstyle.

Let's first talk about Liu Bang's skills. Among many top lane heroes, Liu Bang clears minion waves relatively quickly, because his skill mechanics are indeed suitable for clearing minions. His passive skill releases a long-range enhanced sword energy every few seconds, dealing decent damage, making his wave clear excellent. Moreover, the sword energy has a long attack range, allowing him to poke enemies from a safe position, protecting himself and easily securing last hits. This is the foundation, because without fast wave clear, there is no qualification to eat multiple lanes.

Additionally, the shield and burst damage of his first skill scale with bonus health, meaning the tankier Liu Bang is, the higher his damage. Since Liu Bang is a tank hero who rarely builds damage items, this is very synergistic, making his first skill's damage considerable and allowing even faster wave clear.
High damage not only leads to fast wave clear but also makes it easier to secure kills, which gives a lot of gold. Especially against opponents with a very good record, defeating them rewards several hundred gold as bounty. Additionally, players often underestimate Liu Bang, thinking his damage is low, so they become careless and give him opportunities to secure kills. This indirectly increases economic gain and quickly expands the team's advantage.

The core is teleportation. Liu Bang's ultimate allows him to teleport to a teammate from anywhere on the map without restrictions. In previous seasons, Honor of Kings added the teleport summoner spell, which not only didn't overshadow Liu Bang's own teleport but actually enhanced it. For example, after clearing a wave in the top lane, if a fight breaks out in the development lane, Liu Bang can use the teleport array to go support, and after supporting, use his ultimate to teleport back to his lane to continue farming. This is almost lossless, a capability that other heroes find hard to achieve, even Ma Chao can't. However, this is just the basics; Liu Bang's potential is far beyond this.

Moreover, the top lane also has a teleport array. Anywhere with a turret or minion waves can be teleported to. Liu Bang's own ultimate plus the designated summoner spell give him essentially two teleports, meaning he effectively has three teleport effects. This allows him to eat three lanes like this: First, clear the top lane minion wave, then use the teleport array to go to the development lane. If there's a team fight, join it; if not, help clear the wave. Then use his ultimate to teleport to the mid lane to help clear minions, and finally use the summoner teleport to the top lane to continue clearing. If the enemy top laner also uses the teleport array to support the development lane, there is even a chance to directly push the turret.
This effectively means eating three lanes. Some might think that a hero like Liu Bang doesn't have much impact even with gold, but that underestimates him. Actually, with enough gold, any hero can create a huge advantage. Everyone has probably encountered a tank with higher economy on the enemy team, making it completely impossible to kill. Besides Liu Bang, Hainuo can also achieve a similar effect. You might want to give it a try.

That's all for today. If you found it helpful, please give a like to support. If you have anything to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment in the section below, and I will read them all.
