Hello everyone, I'm Xiaodi, a gaming enthusiast.
Recently, I checked the recent skin sales and found that Daji's Wushuang skin "Qingqiu·Nine-Tails" has already returned for the third time, yet its sales remain high. So to understand the current usage of this skin, I specifically looked into the preferences of national server Daji players. The results were truly surprising—let's dive into the details.

First, let's look at the actual distribution. I surveyed the Android Q server I'm on. Although I didn't check the other three servers, Android Q is considered a fairly competitive server. Among the 10 national server Daji players (real-time, not the final ranking), apart from two who didn't display Daji's usage on their profiles, the remaining eight players all used the Wushuang skin "Qingqiu·Nine-Tails" without exception. What does this mean? It means almost all national server players chose this skin, which is quite remarkable given that the national server leaderboard usually shows diverse preferences.

In theory, Daji actually has quite a few skins—up to 12, ranging from low to high quality, offering a wide selection. There are limited skins like "Rekindled Samba", "Time Traveler", "Terminal of Time", and the New Year's limited skin "Yuanzhao·All Beings", which is also a legendary limited. Additionally, there are older epic skins like "Café Maid" and "Vegas Charm" that can be exchanged for shards. Logically, players should have different favorites. So why is everyone favoring this one specific skin?

First and foremost, it's the unique quality tier. Although Daji has many skins, the quality distribution is actually uneven. Among the 12 skins, most are epic or brave, while the highest tier—such as Wushuang, Glory Crystal, Premium Legendary, Premium Wushuang—currently only includes "Qingqiu·Nine-Tails" for Daji. In other words, this is the ceiling Daji players can currently achieve.
Moreover, the effects of "Qingqiu·Nine-Tails" are above average for a Wushuang skin. The nine-tailed fox's misty trail design is highly distinctive and looks impressive both in the lobby and in-game. National server players generally pursue perfection, so choosing the Wushuang skin is only natural.

Another reason is that this time the return has completed the Wushuang treatment. "Qingqiu·Nine-Tails" is a relatively early Wushuang skin, when the Wushuang system was not yet mature. Resources like the "Memory Stone", which later became standard for Wushuang skins, were not available initially. The previous return added flash posters, and this third return specifically added the Memory Stone. After purchase, kills, tower pushes, and highlight moments can all be recorded, giving the Wushuang skin its full prestige. Thus, its usability has naturally increased.
There's also a practical reason: it helps many players who missed out earlier. As everyone knows, Wushuang skins are obtained through wish-based draws, available only for a limited time. If you miss them, you have to wait for a return. This is already the third return for "Qingqiu·Nine-Tails". The national server player base changes significantly over time, so newer players might not have had the chance to use it before. Those who didn't get it initially can now grab it, and those who already have it can also use the return to complete the Memory Stone benefits. This explains the phenomenon of everyone switching to the same skin.

I wonder if you picked up "Qingqiu·Nine-Tails" during this return? What skin are you currently using for Daji? Share your thoughts in the comments.
That's all for now. If you found it interesting, feel free to give a like to show your support. If you have anything to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment—I'll check them all out!
