WBG3-0 swept UP, easily advancing to the playoffs! Dominating performance, light's Yuumi and Ahri dealt explosive damage.

During the LPL third stage Knights Road BO5 showdown between UP and WBG, WBG dominated with a 3-0 sweep over UP, advancing to the playoffs.

In game one, WBG picked Rumble top, Trundle jungle, Taliyah mid, and Jhin with Rell bot; UP chose Sion top, Jarvan jungle, Orianna mid, and Corki with Neeko bot. Early on, WBG's top and jungle secured a kill on Junhao’s Jarvan, granting breathe’s Rumble first blood. WBG secured two early dragons and used Rift Herald to take down the first mid turret, gaining a 2k gold lead.

In the mid game, UP aggressively killed breathe’s Rumble, but WBG responded by eliminating four UP members and securing Elder Dragon. At 25 minutes, a bot lane skirmish saw breathe’s Rumble ult block the path, Junhao’s Jarvan was caught and killed, and after a 1-for-2 trade, WBG claimed the Cloud Drake soul. At 27 minutes, Junhao’s Jarvan was caught again, and WBG took the first Baron. In the late game at 30 minutes, WBG pushed bot lane, with breathe’s Rumble ult combined with teammates dealing massive damage. UP was wiped out, allowing WBG to easily win the first game. Breathe’s Rumble dealt the highest damage in this match.

In game two, UP selected Anivia top, Xin Zhao jungle, Galio mid, and Varus with Bard bot; WBG picked Gwen top, Naya Feili jungle, Annie mid, and Sivir with Alistar bot. During laning, WBG’s bot lane dove Baiye’s Varus, with light’s Sivir securing first blood. However, Tian’s Naya Feili was taken down, and UP’s trio ganked top to kill breathe’s Gwen. Early on, UP won a dragon fight with a 0-for-2 trade, gaining a 2k gold advantage.

In the mid game, WBG secured Rift Herald, then both teams fought over it again. Liu Qingsong’s Alistar was killed first, and xiaohu’s Annie was also taken down. However, Breathe’s Gwen landed a perfect ultimate and Light’s Sivir dealt heavy damage, wiping most of UP and securing Elder Dragon. At 32 minutes, WBG killed Saber’s Galio top, and Anivia who came to assist was also taken down, allowing WBG to take the first Baron. At 36 minutes, UP’s top forced a fight but failed to kill Light’s Sivir. WBG counterattacked, killing three UP members and winning the second game. MVP was awarded to Tian’s Naya Feili.

In game three, UP chose Renekton top, Vi jungle, Ahri mid, and Kai’Sa with Maokai bot; WBG picked Quassanti top, Zed jungle, Ryze mid, and Yuumi with Rakan bot. Early on, there was a top lane skirmish where UP’s Renekton mistakenly used Red Buff bite on vision, allowing WBG to respond faster and score a 0-for-2 trade. Tian’s Zed secured first blood. UP took Rift Herald early, while WBG claimed the first dragon, leading to a 1k gold lead for WBG.

In the mid game, both teams fought over Elder Dragon. UP secured it, but Liu Qingsong’s Rakan failed his engage and was left low on health. UP managed to assassinate Light’s Yuumi, but xiaohu’s Ryze killed Baiye’s Kai’Sa, resulting in WBG trading 2-for-3. At 27 minutes, UP initiated a bot fight and killed Light’s Yuumi, but WBG countered with a 1-for-4 cleanup. In the late game at 30 minutes, Junhao’s Vi aggressively engaged Light’s Yuumi but lacked damage, allowing xiaohu’s Ryze to clean up. WBG won the match with a flawless 0-for-5 team fight.
