In the LPL Playoffs Winners' Final BO5 between TES and IG, after four intense games, TES defeated IG 3-1 to secure the 3rd seed for the World Championship. IG will battle WBG and JDG for the 4th seed position.
In the first game, TES fielded Quasanti top, Pantheon jungle, Orianna mid, and Kai'Sa with Neeko in the bot lane; IG responded with Rumble top, Poppy jungle, Ryze mid, and Xayah plus Alistar bot. During the laning phase, both teams secured one dragon each, TES took down the first mid turret, and TES held a 3K gold lead early on.
In the mid-game, both sides contested the Elder Dragon, with Wei's Poppy securing it. At 27 minutes, Hang’s Neeko was caught in the jungle, but TES's timely support turned the fight, achieving a 0-for-2 exchange and securing the first Baron. Later, at 31 minutes, TES pushed the bot lane, Hang’s Neeko ulted four enemies, and TES wiped IG to claim the first game victory. JKL’s Kai'Sa dealt the highest damage in this match.
In game two, IG picked Camille top, Xin Zhao jungle, Galio mid, and Sivir with Rell bot; TES chose Aphelios top, Wukong jungle, Annie mid, and Ezreal with Seraphine bot. The laning phase saw back-and-forth action, IG secured Rift Herald, TES took two dragons, and IG destroyed the first top turret. Both teams were nearly even in gold early on.
In the mid-game fight over Elder Dragon, TheShy’s Camille was caught and killed early in the jungle. Although Wei’s Xin Zhao secured the Elder Dragon, TES turned the fight into a 0-for-3. At 24 minutes, during a dragon contest, Meiko’s Rell was instantly killed first; Wei’s Xin Zhao then initiated, Kanavi’s Wukong secured the Earth Dragon soul, and TES won the team fight 4-for-2, subsequently taking Baron. At 26 minutes, IG’s mid lane engage failed, TES countered, killing four IG members and quickly sealed the second game. Kanavi’s Wukong earned MVP.
In game three, IG selected Dr. Mundo top, Vi jungle, Aurelion Sol mid, and Ziggs with Nautilus bot; TES went with Sion top, Naya Feili jungle, Viktor mid, and Lucian with Braum bot. The laning phase was competitive, TES secured Rift Herald, IG took down the first bot turret, and both teams were even in gold early.
In the mid-game fight for Elder Dragon, IG claimed it, and TheShy’s Dr. Mundo flanked to directly attack JKL’s Lucian. IG managed a 4-for-2 team fight win. Later at 32 minutes, Wei’s Vi flanked and, with teammates, quickly eliminated JKL’s Lucian. IG then went for Baron; TES attempted to stop them, but IG engaged, with TheShy’s Viktor diving Creme’s Viktor, leading to a team wipe of TES and IG securing the match victory.
In game four, TES picked Gnar top, Jarvan IV jungle, Akali mid, and Ezreal with Renata bot; IG chose Gwen top, Skarner jungle, Lulu mid, and Miss Fortune with Bard bot. During laning, Gala’s Miss Fortune was caught in the brush by TES’s bot duo, resulting in JKL’s Ezreal getting first blood. TES had lane advantages across all three lanes early, secured Rift Herald, and led by 2K gold.
In the mid-game, TES destroyed the first top turret. They then secured Elder Dragon, but Gala’s Miss Fortune ult wiped out JKL’s Ezreal first. Despite this, TES forced a 4v5 fight, and IG managed a 1-for-3 exchange. At 29 minutes, TES took the Infernal Soul; Hang’s Renata engaged with a flash initiation, TES easily wiped IG 5-for-0, and claimed the first Baron. Finally, at 31 minutes, TES wiped IG at the base and won the match.
