Overseas fans are buzzing about IG qualifying for Worlds: besides GALA, no one on IG deserves the win.

IG beat JDG 3-1 in the LPL play-in, earning the fourth seed and a ticket to Worlds. This game soon ignited widespread debate among international viewers. Here are some of their thoughts!

- GALA was outstanding, definitely worthy of going to Worlds!

- It seems IG has consistently targeted the fourth seed to take on T1.

- IG will block T1 before they reach the World Championship summit. They are the heroes of the LPL.

- If GALA hadn’t carried the second game alone, IG would have surely fallen apart mentally.

- GALA is absolutely insane.

- Rookie versus Faker, but it’s only a fourth seed match and just a strange play-in, not the real World Championship. Unbelievable.

- At least it should be a best-of-five.

- Both players were off their game, haha. But this is definitely what fans have been waiting for all these years.

- Scout played terribly.

- Rookie too, haha. It was a mid-laner elimination match with both performing poorly.

- Rookie’s Annie was one of the worst performances ever, which distracted us from Scout’s terrifying Ryze.

- We haven’t seen Faker and Rookie face off for years, and now they meet in a Worlds play-in to fight for a spot in the Swiss stage—it’s quite poetic.

- Imagine, this might be the highest-rated match of the World Championship.

- GALA is a monster. Glad to see him at Worlds, but unfortunate he faces T1. Hope the better team wins!

- GALA is the only one on IG worth paying.

- Rookie finally made it back to Worlds. Wow, after so long, we get a Faker vs Rookie best-of-five, haha. Hope it sells well.

- Happy IG succeeded, but besides GALA, no one else on the team deserves the win.

- Most of the time, Wei was decent, but the other three were questionable.

- The Rookie vs Faker matchup is pure poetry.

- It’s bound to be a tragedy.

- My dream of a Worlds final between T1 and IG is shattered. But at least I get to see that match.

- GALA really wanted to go to Worlds; he carried IG on his back.

- By the way, Peyz chose JDG over KT.

- Peyz started strong but has recently declined. Possibly due to JDG’s support changes. Hope he bounces back next year.

- JDG made crazy mistakes in this BO5; Peyz’s Lucian was terrible.

- GALA is carrying the team 1v9.

- Overall, except for TheShy who was a bit weak, other IG members performed well. The fourth seed was a gift from Wei and GALA to IG.

- GALA played exceptionally. Rookie finally passed the play-in, giving us a chance to see him internationally, though probably only for one round. The Rookie vs Faker battle for Worlds qualification will be exciting.

- Many questionable things happened in this BO5. Yes, GALA deserved the win and played well. But how did TheShy win Game 3? How many team fights started and unfolded from odd angles? What was Xun thinking? Why was JDG so indecisive? There are many issues to question and work on.

- T1 will be a beast IG has never faced before.

- I like IG, but Oner and Keria are definitely much stronger than Wei and Meiko. I just hope IG can win at least one game.

- After Worlds, everyone except GALA should retire from IG and let GALA find a new team.
