Brothers who play the legend, do you still remember those unforgettable moments? Back then, I would spend several nights at the Corpse King’s Hall just to snatch a bottle of Blessing Oil; after saving gold bars for half a year, my hands trembled so much I almost couldn’t confirm when I finally bought the Hellfire Axe... In this legend, every piece of gear can be priced, but the truly valuable things can’t be bought in the trading hall.
Equipment shows status, but it’s more than just stats.
The Dragon Slayer Sword is not only a warrior’s divine weapon but also a symbol of status across the server. When a mage swings the Bloodthirster and unleashes Ice Howl, everyone knows the Mage God has arrived. Special rings need no introduction—Teleport Ring makes you elusive, Protection Ring turns mages into “tanks,” and with the Memory Set, brothers instantly drop into the battlefield. Some rare costumes add no stats but wearing them is pure prestige; veteran players know this well.
Priced items may depreciate, but priceless ones last longer.
Powerful gear is indeed valuable, even after many years. But if you want something that holds its value, it’s those things without a price tag.
Like when the warrior says, “I’ll tank, you guys deal damage” during a team-up; or when you’re running low on potions and suddenly a stranger tosses you some red and blue bundles through trade; or when a guild brother drops the gear you need and without hesitation hits trade.
During siege battles, knowing charging the gate is suicide, yet a group still yells and pushes forward; after farming monsters all night with no drops, still laughing and chatting with teammates until dawn. These moments can’t be sold or exchanged for gold bars, yet they outlast any gear. Equipment becomes outdated, prices fall, but friendships forged through hardships and shared foolishness only grow more precious with time.
25 years on, the heaviest load we carry is memories.
Opening the warehouse now, those old gears’ stats no longer keep up, so why keep them? Because each one carries a story: the guild buzzing “awesome” when the first dog book dropped, the priest brother casting anti-magic aura during city defense, late nights in Pig Cave Level 7 burning pigs and joking around... These memories are the heaviest “hard currency” we carry.
Anniversary celebration, come back and relive the old days.
For this 25th anniversary, the game has added some new features. For example, a statue of Guan Yu was erected in the manor—worship daily to collect “Martial Saint Pilgrimage Gifts” and exchange for a limited-time Guan Yu costume—wear it standing at the Sand City gate, and that old sense of brotherhood instantly returns.
Do you still have unfinished materials in your warehouse? Owe a brother a “count me in next siege” promise? Take advantage of the September 28th 25th anniversary, fire up your weapon again, team up and challenge the bosses you missed back then. Maybe at the old spot, you’ll bump into familiar rivals, share a smile, and have one hell of a fight.
25 years, prices have changed countless times, but some things never do: brothers who fought monsters together, the fierce battles in Sabac, and that warm feeling when you hear the word “Legend.” Today, waiting for the brothers to come back and shoot the breeze!
