JDG0-2 lost to DK, suffering their first defeat! The jungle and mid lanes were completely outplayed, with showmaker delivering an outstanding performance.

In the Asian Invitational BO3 between JDG and DK, after two intense games, DK secured a 2-0 victory over JDG, earning their first win, while JDG suffered their initial defeat in the event.

In the first game, DK's top was Aphelios, jungle Lee Sin, mid LeBlanc, and bot Ziggs paired with Leona; JDG chose Renekton top, Xin Zhao jungle, Azir mid, and Jhin with Neeko bot. During the laning phase, there was a 3v3 skirmish bot lane where Lucid's Lee Sin killed Peyz's Jhin, and Aiming on Ziggs secured first blood. JDG then gained good momentum, as their Nidalee team fight resulted in a 0-for-2 exchange, and they also won a 0-for-2 fight in the jungle. Peyz's Jhin destroyed the first tower in the bottom lane, giving JDG a 2K gold lead early on.

In the mid game, JDG began to make mistakes. At 20 minutes, DK caught and killed JDG’s bot lane duo in the upper jungle and took Baron Nashor. At 28 minutes, DK’s top and jungle stole the Elder Dragon; JDG came to contest, but DK abandoned the dragon and initiated a team fight. Lucid’s Lee Sin played aggressively, and DK exchanged 1 for 4 before securing the Elder Dragon. In the late game at 30 minutes, Lucid’s Lee Sin made chaotic plays in the base, and after a 1-for-5 team wipe against JDG, DK won the first game. The highest damage dealer in the first game was Aiming on Ziggs.

In the second game, JDG picked Sion top, Qiyana jungle, Ryze mid, and Kai'Sa with Renata bot; DK went with Jax top, Jarvan jungle, Malzahar mid, and Lucian with Braum bot. During the laning phase bot lane 2v2, Aiming’s Lucian killed Zhuo’s Renata. Early on, DK destroyed two towers, but the teams were nearly even in gold.

In the mid game, Siwoo’s Jax took the first tower top and later solo killed Scout’s Ryze. At 21 minutes, JDG attempted to take Baron Nashor, but Lucid’s Jarvan arrived to steal it. At 23 minutes, JDG initiated a fight top lane, but DK collapsed and easily secured a 0-for-4 exchange. Finally, at 25 minutes, DK killed four JDG members again and clinched the match victory.
