S15 Swiss Round: Knight's LeBlanc dazzles with a quadra kill, BLG eliminates VKS 2-0

In the 2025 League of Legends World Championship Swiss Round Round 4 Group 1-2, BLG overcame VKS 2-0, moving on to Swiss Round Round 5 Group 2-2.

Game One

BLG: Jax, Troll, Ziggs, Kai'Sa, Neeko

VKS: Aphelios, Qiyana, Kassadin, Varus, Karma

Just 4 minutes into the match, Troll and Kai'Sa attempted a tower dive to kill Aphelios, but VKS’s Aphelios executed an exceptional play, turning tower damage against them for a double kill, securing an early lead for his team. At 15 minutes, BLG quickly grouped to secure Rift Herald, then teamed up to kill Aphelios and took down the first turret on the top lane, steadily gaining control of the game tempo.

In the mid game at 21 minutes, BLG capitalized on Kassadin’s poor form to take down the Rift Herald. Kassadin’s forced engage missed crucial targets, allowing Elk’s Kai'Sa to retaliate and secure the kill. At 25 minutes, Shad0w’s Troll confidently secured Baron Nashor, while Elk’s Kai'Sa maneuvered flawlessly in team fights to achieve a double kill. BLG executed a one-for-five exchange, significantly extending their lead.

At 29 minutes, Knight’s Ziggs ultimate landed perfectly, instantly killing VKS’s Karma, and Bin’s Jax dived in to claim a double kill. Riding the momentum, BLG scored a zero-for-four team fight, pushing straight to destroy the enemy Nexus, winning the first game.

Game Two

VKS: Q'Sai, Wukong, Taliyah, Sivir, Bard

BLG: Rumble, Xin Zhao, LeBlanc, Corki, Poppy

At 6 minutes, a 4v4 clash occurred in the bottom lane where BLG’s two carries each secured a kill. At 9 minutes, VKS’s Wukong rotated to bottom and, with his team, dove under tower to kill Elk’s Corki. With Bard’s presence, VKS’s roaming support was very quick, and at 14 minutes they caught Poppy ON out. BLG countered by killing VKS’s mid-jungle duo, and Knight’s LeBlanc exploded with a quadra kill, taking off in the game.

BLG then entered a stalemate phase, struggling to extend their lead while VKS maintained control and continued farming. In the late game, both teams fought around Baron and mid lane minions. At 31 minutes, BLG wiped the enemy team with Elk’s Corki securing a triple kill, allowing BLG to take Baron. Despite taking Baron, BLG found it hard to break into the high ground as VKS stalled out the buff. At 37 minutes, Bin and ON combined to kill VKS’s Taliyah in the bottom lane, giving BLG the chance to push down VKS’s mid lane inhibitor.

Knight’s LeBlanc executed a smooth combo to instantly kill VKS’s Sivir, and BLG secured their second Baron. Grouping up, BLG pushed from the bottom lane and destroyed the second inhibitor turret. At 42 minutes, BLG’s mid and support died consecutively, allowing VKS to seize the opportunity to group and push mid lane turret. Bin teleported to the enemy base for a backdoor while the rest of BLG distracted VKS’s retreat, successfully ending the game with Bin’s sneaky play leading the team to victory.
