In the 2025 League of Legends World Championship semifinals, T1 triumphed over TES 3-0, securing a spot in the S15 final! KT and T1 will battle for the championship crown!

Game One

T1 picks: Mordekaiser, Xin Zhao, Orianna, Varus, Rakan
TES picks: Kled, Wukong, Akali, Sivir, Karma
At the start, Kanavi’s jungle clear was slower than Oner’s, and he failed to steal the red buff. At 5 minutes, T1’s jungle, support, and mid invaded TES’s jungle, but TES’s mid and support quickly assisted Kanavi to kill Oner’s Xin Zhao. After gaining river control near bottom lane, TES hesitated to engage, allowing T1 to secure the dragon. Soon after, Hang got caught with a double crowd control, and TES surrendered the Rift Herald to T1.
T1 then settled into a familiar strategic rhythm, controlling two consecutive dragons and the Rift Herald. TES repeatedly tried to break through the side lanes, but Faker’s tankiness prevented any openings. At 23 minutes, T1 secured another dragon to reach match point. At 25 minutes, TES initiated on Elder Dragon, but T1’s team defense killed Kanavi, causing TES to collapse. T1 claimed Elder Dragon and the Baron afterward.

At 27 minutes, Hang was killed by T1, then TES managed to kill Xiao Lü Bu in a four-versus-five fight. Oner’s Xin Zhao turned into a “child dragon,” leading the team to wipe TES. T1 then took control of the Infernal Soul. By continuously denying resources, T1’s superior macro play wore TES down. Ultimately, T1 won the first game at 30 minutes.
Game Two

TES picks: Aphelios, Trundle, Ryze, Corki, Nami
T1 picks: Rell, Jarvan IV, Galio, Kai’Sa, Neeko
Early on, Kanavi kept trying to find picks but failed. At 6 minutes, T1 seized an opportunity with a mid-jungle top dive, killing TES’s bottom lane duo. At 9 minutes, Aphelios caught Faker’s Galio out of position and secured a kill. At 12 minutes, Oner secured the dragon, and TES’s follow-up fight resulted in a 1-for-2 exchange.
At 14 minutes, Aphelios and Hang killed Xiao Lü Bu in mid lane, but T1 responded by killing Aphelios, while TES took the Rift Herald. At 17 minutes during the dragon fight, T1’s coordinated abilities instantly eliminated Aphelios, and Oner secured the dragon with Smite. At 20 minutes, T1 decisively counter-engaged; Xiao Lü Bu and Kai’Sa safely output damage to secure a triple kill, wiping TES and taking the Elder Dragon.

T1’s teamfight composition was nearly flawless offensively. Whenever the top, jungle, and support engaged, Faker’s Galio would follow up with his ultimate. Aphelios found it hard to survive, while Xiao Lü Bu and Kai’Sa dealt damage safely. Dodging 369’s Aphelios ultimate allowed T1 to output damage securely. At 24 minutes, Aphelios aggressively attacked, and TES barely killed Xiao Lü Bu, but T1 wiped TES afterward. TES’s situation was hopeless, and T1 won the second game to reach match point.
Game Three

TES picks: Ornn, Qiyana, Alora, Draven, Nautilus
T1 picks: Sion, Pantheon, Maokai, Ashe, Renata Glasc
At 3 minutes, Kanavi at level 4 ganked top and killed Doran’s Sion. Kanavi continued diving top to “train” Doran’s Sion, and also caught Faker’s Maokai mid. At 14 minutes during the dragon contest, T1 positioned first and instantly killed Kanavi, leading to TES’s team wipe.

At 18 minutes in a mid-lane skirmish, both teams exchanged kills, with 369’s Ornn securing three kills. TES made a mistake in the river, losing their top and support to kills. TES’s disadvantage grew, and at the crucial 19-minute dragon fight, T1 took the dragon and killed TES’s mid and jungle.
As the game progressed, TES’s disadvantage widened, and they were gradually defeated in teamfights by T1. Ultimately, T1 won the match and advanced once again to the World Championship final stage.
