Take stock of Valorant's past World Championship winners!

The 2024 Valorant World Championship will be held on August 1 in Seoul, Korea, marking the fourth edition of the Global Championship. Take a look back at the previous three championships and take a look at the teams that have won the World Championships in the past.

2021 Berlin World Championship

This is the first World Championship tournament, held in Berlin, Germany, and also with 16 teams participating.

Acend in EMEA made it all the way from the group stage to the finals, winning the inaugural Valorant World Championship with an undefeated record!

At that time, the members of Acend were BONECOLD (retired), cNed (now at FUT), Kiles (now at KPI, a team in a minor league), starxo (now in KO1), and zeek (now in GN, a team in a minor league).

2022 Istanbul Global Championships

In the second World Championship, EDG went all the way from the East Asian qualifiers to the final, and defeated the then Korea team ONS 3-0 to win the final chance to advance to the championship. But EDG had a miserable year, failing to qualify for the group stage, and along with EDG, PRX in the same group also failed to qualify.

And in that qualifier, there was another Chinese team at that time, KONE, but at that time they fell at the door of the lower bracket finals and were defeated 2-1 by ONS.

At that time, players who came out of KONG, such as yosemite, Knight, and LuoK1ng, are still active in the CN League.

At that time, FPX, who won the Copenhagen Masters that year, also participated in the championship tournament, but the FPX at that time was all foreign players.

That year, LOUD laughed and in the end, they made it all the way from the upper bracket to the finals and won the championship.

At that time, the members of LOUD were pANcada (still at LOUD), Sacy (now at SEN), Saadhak (still at LOUD), aspas (now at LEV), and Less (still at LOUD).

2023 Los Angeles World Championship

In this championship, there are three teams from the CN region, namely EDG, BLG, and FPX.

FPX was eliminated from the group stage directly, while BLG and EDG advanced to the quarterfinals.

But BLG and EDG failed to go far, and even fell into the lower bracket together, and the brothers' battle guaranteed one, but in the end EDG was eliminated by LOUD.

That year, "Evil Genius" EG defeated PRX in the final to win the championship.

At that time, the members of EG were Boostio (now at 100T), Ethan (now at NRG), jawgemo (still at EG), C0M (now at LEV), and Demon1 (now at NRG).

Looking back at these three World Championships, the winning teams have all been cursed by the champions, and no team has been able to escape the fate of parting ways after winning the championship.

Now that the 2024 Seoul World Championship is just around the corner, C0M is the only one who competed in this year's championship.

On August 1st, the 2024 Seoul Global Championship is about to begin!
