The LPL region has been steadily announcing transfer updates lately. This yearly cycle starts with some rumors and minor waves, then those rumors become more reliable news, and eventually, official confirmations arrive! So far, the official announcements mostly align with previous rumors, especially regarding BLG’s lineup. With Viper and Xun joining, the team has truly become a unique powerhouse in the LPL, arguably already the presumptive champions. Although it’s premature to celebrate, this certainly validates the strength of their dual carry setup—it’s truly formidable! If BLG is the top contender, TES likely holds the second spot, with players like Knight and 369 still able to compete for a Worlds slot. Recently announced lineups from JDG and WBG also show overall improvements, instantly making them hot favorites for qualification!

There’s no doubt about the LPL champion this season—it’s basically BLG. Their lineup was strong before, now with a stable jungle and Viper’s enhanced carry potential in the bot lane, it’s a given. The main focus is who will claim the rest of the top four spots! Looking at JDG’s roster, the mid-jungle duo is the LCP region’s ace. Both HongQ and Junjia are very skilled and have adapted well through several meta shifts. It depends on whether the LPL’s overall strength keeps pace, but based on their Worlds performance, it’s likely no problem! Xiaoxu in the top lane is one of the better newcomers in recent years, while the bot lane pairs Gala with the former WE rookie, XiaoV!

With mid-jungle setting the pace early to mid-game and Gala securing the late game, this lineup looks quite solid and much more stable than last year—representing a real qualitative improvement. The key factor is also having coach Tabe! It all depends on whether Gala can maintain his previous fiery form. Over the years, he has consistently reached the quarterfinals but never quite broken through. He has the will but hasn’t had the luck yet. Hopefully, JDG can help him take that next step!

On the other side, Elk, who left BLG to join WBG, is a promising new-generation AD carry in the LPL and a strong carry player. However, he has always been alongside Knight, who’s known for bringing LPL championships wherever he goes! Now Elk has chosen to leave and join WBG, aiming to prove himself. Currently, WBG’s mid laner Xiaohu will continue leading the team. While not expecting huge potential from this veteran, he is steady and reliable in the LPL. Last year, Light struggled mentally throughout the season, but with Elk added, the situation is completely different! The support role is filled by rookie Erha, who performed well in previous appearances, forming a very flexible duo! Overall, WBG’s lineup has a good chance to qualify for Worlds. BLG, TES, JDG, and WBG are all ready—now it depends on how sincere the other teams’ official rosters will be!
