In the opening round of the 2025 Valorant Source Energy International Invitational playoffs, PRX beat G2 2-1 and will meet FPX in the semifinals.

During the first half, Jinggg’s clutch play in the second round saved the team and sparked a comeback against G2. PRX started strong with three consecutive wins. In round 4, G2 made a powerful push with a swarm attack; JAWGEMO’s swarm eliminated Jinggg’s Raze ultimate, enabling G2 to overturn the disadvantage despite weaker weapons. G2 then took four straight rounds, benefiting greatly from their ultimate abilities and aggressive offense. Under the pressure of KAY/O and Brimstone’s ultimates, PRX struggled to hold off G2’s attacks. In round 8, JAWGEMO rushed A site, taking down three PRX defenders alone. In round 10, something executed textbook defensive rotations to stabilize the score. After a timeout, PRX regained momentum and won four rounds in a row. The first half ended with PRX leading 7-5 over G2.

In the second half, after losing the pistol round, Jinggg stepped up to lead PRX in securing both the bonus and rifle rounds. PRX went on a five-round winning streak to reach match point. G2 called their second timeout and, led by JAWGEMO, recovered three rounds. In round 23, following a timeout, PRX rushed B site; something’s well-timed play at the site sealed the match. PRX won Neon Town 13-10.

At the start of the first half, PRX lacked rhythm and G2 scored four consecutive rounds. In round 3, babybay exploded with a four-kill to win PRX’s rifle round. In round 6, something cut off G2’s mid rotation, nearly scoring an ACE with four kills, ending PRX’s five-round losing streak and earning their first point. In round 7, something held firm at A site, taking three kills, followed by a kill from a teammate; together they eliminated all five G2 players. PRX then won five rounds in a row. In round 11, babybay used his individual skill to win the fight inside B site’s smoke, defeating PRX’s retake attempt. The first half ended tied at 6-6.

In the second half, G2 won the pistol round, but something’s outstanding performance helped PRX claim the rifle round. In round 17, valyn caught three PRX players at A short, and with Phantom’s high fire rate secured a triple kill. PRX fell into confusion without a timeout, losing rhythm on offense and dropping rounds consecutively, with only something carrying the team. G2 then scored four straight rounds. In round 23, Jinggg attempted a full ultimate rush on B site but was picked off. Something’s solo flank was also eliminated, and trent and valyn’s defense secured the round. G2 took Salt Mines 13-10.

PRX started the first half strong with aggressive shooting, winning three rounds in a row. In round 3, invy performed a god-like flank, getting four kills. In round 7, d4v41 and Jinggg defended A site in a 2v4 scenario. In round 9, PRX’s defense at C site was broken; Jinggg and teammates failed to retake, giving G2 their first point. PRX then went on an eight-round winning streak with high-impact plays from Jinggg, invy, and d4v41, aggressively pushing defense and overwhelming G2. The first half ended with PRX leading 10-2.

In the second half, PRX won the pistol round. In round 14, G2 attempted a swarm push but PRX eliminated them all at B site. G2’s economy collapsed in round 15, leaving them with weak weapons and no chance. PRX took three more rounds to secure the victory on Hidden Sanctuary and advanced to the semifinals to face FPX.
