Two top LPL teams eliminated, BLG utterly defeated! Viper repeatedly died, Bin's new flaw exposed

Hello to all LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is Tianxia Game Hub.

Group B of the LOL Demacia Cup became a death group with five strong teams, and the surprising outcome saw both BLG and WBG eliminated.

BLG's performance was especially disappointing, producing extremely absurd matches.

Two major LPL teams eliminated, BLG completely collapsed

The Demacia Cup rules allow the top three teams from each group to advance. Before the matches, JDG, BLG, and WBG were considered the top three in Group B, while OMG and LNG seemed weaker, but the actual games proved otherwise.

OMG and LNG turned into dark horses, defeating strong opponents consecutively. BLG’s debut was impressive but soon ran into trouble, losing all matches against OMG and JDG.

Yesterday’s matches saw BLG deliver explosive gameplay, with all players performing like stars, leaving the audience speechless.

Support On’s Alistar in the first game fed twice right away; initiating fights, his W onto Thresh’s lantern was pulled away by the enemy. Bin’s top lane Mordekaiser tried to flank in team fights instead of engaging frontally, arriving late while the dragon was already taken by opponents. The jungler's attempts to control the enemy jungle failed to make an impact.

Most shockingly, Viper kept dying repeatedly with Aphelios, flashing away but still caught by LeBlanc’s engage without being able to flash, then caught again by Xin Zhao with no flash available. In a wild jungle duel, GALA was instantly killed by the opponent despite low health.

Bin’s new flaw revealed — unwilling to adjust his camera

In the second game, BLG had a good start as JDG’s top laner made a tower dive mistake, allowing BLG’s Galio to secure a kill. However, BLG then made mistakes: Galio died trying to take the bottom tower, and the top lane dive was countered by Malphite’s ultimate through the wall, killing one of BLG’s players.

Viper’s Jhin play was still questionable; he was solo killed by Nocturne in the jungle. Xun’s attempt to duel Varus failed, and he was surrounded and gave up his life.

Overall, Xun’s Jayce was wildly missing skill shots, On was reckless in initiating fights, and Viper seemed completely lost.

Offstage, Bin’s pre-match interview showed his double eyelids twitching, causing fans to comment he couldn’t hold it together. Angel revealed on stream that On had asked Bin to adjust his camera, but Bin refused.

Simply put, during the match, Bin’s camera close-up was always black. At the start, only the top of his head was visible. Fans wondered why other players’ cameras worked fine but Bin’s didn’t. It turned out Bin knew but didn’t want to fix it, becoming a new point of ridicule among viewers.

Performing as if throwing the game, BLG looked like a disorganized mess

Personally, BLG’s performance seemed strange. Such a roster playing so disjointedly even gave an impression of throwing the match. This new lineup’s debut was a complete failure, with old problems unresolved and Viper’s poor form adding to the issues.

Although the Demacia Cup isn’t very prestigious or critical, such a performance calls for serious reflection. A major problem for LPL teams in recent years is becoming numb to losses; no matter how bad or humiliating the defeat, they fail to improve and keep doing things their own way.

As one of LPL’s top-tier teams, if BLG cannot meet fans’ expectations and achieve good results next year, the LPL region could face serious consequences.

In contrast, WBG’s poor showing is somewhat understandable given their recent formation and first-time player synergy. BLG, however, had four main players besides Knight present, so such results are disgraceful. Hopefully, the players will recognize their issues and focus on improving to achieve better results.
