During the first round of the 2026 VCTCN Qualifier Play-In, TEC overcame WOL 2-1 and moved on to the next stage to compete against Tianlu.

TEC started strong with six consecutive wins in the first half; in round 7, jowa’s Xinghe used an ultimate to split A site defenders, but despite entering the site, TEC’s powerful defense stopped WOL and secured the round.
TEC gained momentum; in round 8, they capitalized on WOL’s weaker weapons to hold B site, forcing WOL to call their first timeout. After adjustments in round 9, WOL baited with Qiutian in mid and quietly took B site.
In round 10, WOL continued attacking B; TEC’s three-on-three defense was delayed by WOL’s tactics. Although Dynamite won the clutch, there was not enough time to defuse the spike.
In round 11, Xiaofei scored a triple kill leading the team to win A site. Round 12 saw WOL break through B defense and push forward, but Haodong and Abo’s defense failed, allowing Xiaochun to secure a four-kill. Half-time score: TEC 8-4 WOL.

In the second half, Haodong’s precise tapping secured an ACE and won the pistol round. In round 14, Haodong struck again, “calling out” a triple kill for his team.
Round 15 was WOL’s bonus round; yosemite defended B site with Odin but TEC broke through, though jowa’s timely rotation minimized losses.
WOL clawed back two rounds. In round 17, TEC saved money and executed a pincer attack on A site, catching WOL off guard and hitting them from behind.
Round 18 was a saving round for WOL with four rifles. Xiaochun first caught two TEC players on B site, then rotated to A for a triple kill, earning his fifth ACE of this year’s VCTCN.
In round 20, Abo’s Neon ulted to enter and plant the spike; yosemite eliminated three TEC players behind the site, and together with Qiutian and Xiaofei, defeated TEC.
WOL scored four consecutive rounds. In round 22, Haodong won a 1v1 clutch against Qiutian, securing match point for TEC.
In round 24, TEC executed a pincer attack on A site; Coco’s Viper entered and won a gunfight before ulting. WOL’s two defenders could not recover, and TEC won Breeze Island 13-11.

WOL won the pistol round in the first half. In round 3, Haodong once again shined, taking down three defenders atop B boxes.
In round 4, TEC attacked B site with four players jumping through windows but yosemite caught them all; only Abo survived with his rifle.
Round 6 saw TEC rushing A site; in a 2v2 clutch, 1ucas scored a double kill to secure the round.
TEC recovered two rounds. In round 8, WOL held strong at A’s front, blocking TEC’s entry and disrupting their coordination.
In round 10, WOL pushed forward again; Qiutian and Mingju’s gunfire stopped TEC from entering, tightly locking down the site.
TEC caught WOL pushing forward in round 11, executing a pincer attack on A site and successfully ending their losing streak.
WOL dominated the first half with consecutive wins, but TEC responded well, narrowing the gap to two rounds by half-time.

In the second half, TEC won the pistol round, but WOL quickly retaliated with aggressive plays. In round 16, yosemite shined again, waking up to a 1v2 double kill on B site, reclaiming the rifle rounds for WOL.
In round 17, TEC saved money; WOL grouped up with Qiutian to pinch A site. TEC eliminated three attackers at A front, but yosemite’s triple kill inside the site and a 1v1 with Coco and Qiutian secured the comeback victory.
Round 19 saw Qiutian’s reckless defense shutting down TEC’s hopes for a comeback.
In round 20, WOL pinched A site, rushing together to break through the “small black room” and eliminated TEC’s rotation, winning Source Factory 13-7.

TEC opened the first half with four consecutive rounds. After a timeout in round 5, WOL focused on controlling Garage and B site, achieving a perfect team wipe.
In round 6, Dynamite slid into the site but was eliminated; TEC rotated to B but WOL held firm. After losing the spike, TEC saved three rifles.
Round 7 featured a Garage fight where WOL defended successfully, pushing out before B site and exchanging kills; jowa eliminated 1ucas to win the round.
WOL secured three straight rounds. In round 8, TEC rushed A site, killing three WOL players and planting the spike with full gunline coverage. WOL’s jowa and Qiutian saved their weapons.
In round 10, jowa rotated to defend B site, securing a triple kill with a pincer attack alongside teammates.
Round 11 saw yosemite’s four-kill roaming through mid, leading TEC to victory.
In round 12, Dynamite held strong at C site, stopping WOL’s retake and scoring a triple kill. Half-time score: TEC 7, WOL 5.

TEC gave up utility in the pistol round but compensated with team coordination to win it.
TEC took three consecutive rounds. In round 16, WOL simplified their strategy, pushing C site with full gunline and wiping TEC’s defenders.
In round 17, Dynamite defended A site like a dragon, weaving through poison gas to find four kills.
Round 18 had WOL rushing B through mid; after planting the spike, a firefight left a 1v1 where Qiutian eliminated Coco for a four-kill.
WOL scored two more rounds. In round 20, after TEC’s timeout, TEC pushed aggressively on C site but WOL countered. In a 3v4 at C, Abo held a small angle with a triple kill to defend.
In the match point round 21, despite weaker weapons, WOL faked A and attacked B; TEC grouped to defend, but Dynamite’s clutch defuse inside smoke sealed TEC’s 13-8 win at Hidden Workshop.
