Miller stated that any viewer who understands the game should know that Viper’s skill level is among the very best in LPL. The reason why Viper often "disappears" in BLG’s matches is entirely due to a mismatch with BLG’s playstyle. Miller explained that when Viper was with EDG and HLE, both teammates and coaches built strategies around him. However, after joining BLG, coach Dan Shen showed little regard for Viper; in every match, whether in ban-pick or tactical importance, Viper was ranked below LeftHand and BIN.

Industry insiders believe Viper is not a good fit for BLG

Hanyi believes Viper’s playstyle doesn’t suit BLG; Viper needs steady, controlled farming and damage output, while BLG prefers “undisciplined aggression.” Therefore, in teamfights, Viper often loses sync with his teammates. Hanyi thinks the AD players who best fit BLG’s style are aggressive, forward-moving types like Xiao Lübu and JKL who like to flash in and deal damage.

BLG management’s ridiculous moves spark controversy

Because Viper hasn’t fully adapted to BLG’s style, many BLG fans have grown dissatisfied with him. Recently, BLG’s management made a shocking blunder that angered many Viper fans. The issue started when BLG’s official account posted two team photos, but Viper was missing from both images.
