Hello to all LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is World Game Hub.
The LPL playoffs yesterday featured the second BO5 match in the winners' bracket, with BLG facing off against WBG. Both teams had previously achieved 3-0 scores, but there was still a gap between those 3-0 victories, as BLG once again completed a clean sweep to defeat WBG.

Edit
The third game between the two sides was even dubbed by viewers as "the most brutal episode."
Xiaohu in disarray, Xun in exceptional form
This match revealed a significant gap in the head-to-head matchup. Even in the relatively back-and-forth first game, BLG's top and mid lanes secured considerable advantages. WBG relied on Jiejie's repeated ganks on the bottom lane with Jarvan IV to gain some early-game edge, while BLG chose to focus on the top lane to secure kills.

Edit
In the mid-game, WBG secured the Mountain Soul point thanks to Jiejie's Smite, but a subsequent mis-engage in the jungle led to a lost team fight. They then failed to out-smite for the Dragon Soul, at which point the game fell firmly under BLG's control. WBG's multiple attempts to gank top proved futile, and Bin ended the game with a clever backdoor play.
In the second game, BLG unleashed their full force for a crushing victory. After a successful gank bottom lane, Xun repeatedly targeted Elk, helping BLG build a massive lead. His Xin Zhao spearheaded the charge, piercing through WBG's defenses in the early to mid-game. With such a huge advantage, BLG switched to a relaxed and creative offensive mode, with Knight's LeBlanc consecutively pulling off flashy combos to eliminate opponents.

Edit
Xiaohu, who had previously secured a Pentakill on Ahri, was completely relegated to a supporting role this game. He was notably flustered when facing an Ashe Enchanted Crystal Arrow, attempting to dodge it with a Protobelt dash but instead dashing directly into it, leading to an easy kill for BLG. The final score was 9-25, giving BLG three match points.
The most brutal episode, Viper demolishes the bottom lane
Just when everyone thought WBG's bottom lane had suffered enough in the second game, the third game saw BLG use实际行动 to prove the lane gap could be even wider. This time, WBG's bot lane picked Sivir and Yuumi, engaging in an all-in level 1 trade, likely thinking they had a significant summoner spell advantage since Viper's Ezreal had Teleport.

The result was that WBG's bot lane was outplayed by On's极限拉扯 at low health, with BLG instead securing first blood.
Shortly after returning to lane, disaster struck again for WBG's bot lane at four minutes. On flashed in to land a chain,配合 Viper to secure a double kill, effectively crushing the lane in just four minutes.
Simultaneously, disaster hit WBG's jungle as Xun's Kindred killed the Monkey King in his own jungle. Not long after, Knight's Syndra secured a solo kill on Xiaohu in mid lane. Caster 957 had just remarked that Xiaohu would die if he got hit by one more skill, and Xiaohu immediately died.

At 12 minutes, WBG好不容易 gathered to contest the dragon, only for Xun to vault over the wall and steal it.
Facing collapse across all lanes, WBG attempted a lane swap bottom to find an opening, but it was to no avail. BLG ended the game with a 19-4 kill lead, sending WBG down to the losers' bracket after the loss.
Undefeated in the playoffs, one step away from MSI
It's worth noting that in the regular season's Best Team selection, Elk was ranked above Viper for the First Team. Objectively speaking, Elk performed exceptionally well during the regular season, whereas Viper was relatively invisible in many matches and even had games with fatal mistakes.

However, come playoffs, BLG直接 dominated the all-Chinese team WBG, and Viper used his outstanding performance to demolish WBG's bottom lane, showcasing the strength of BLG's roster.
BLG has now impressively secured a six-game winning streak in the playoffs. After advancing to the winners' bracket final, if BLG can defeat JDG, they will secure the first spot to qualify for MSI. It's important to note that BLG lost both regular-season matches against JDG, making this upcoming match a revenge opportunity for BLG, which is something to look forward to.
There's also the issue of BLG's inconsistent form. It's often said that when everyone thinks BLG is invincible, they are highly likely to underperform. Personally, I believe this has indeed been a recurring issue for BLG in recent years—players tend to relax their mentality. Once they feel overly confident and don't play seriously, they become prone to upset losses.

It can only be said that for this BLG squad, cautious optimism is advised. The team's form fluctuates too drastically; their qualification for MSI cannot be considered secure until the very last moment. Hopefully, BLG can rectify this issue this year and strive to prove themselves at MSI.
