Bin's top rival advances to the Vanguard Tournament, Indian God King calls out BLG! Champions from four major regions all confirmed.

Indian God King advances to Vanguard Tournament

As the LPL's strongest team, many squads want to challenge BLG in the coming Vanguard Tournament, among them is the LCS champion LYON. This team includes a well-known figure to LPL viewers, the 28-year-old Indian top laner Dhokla. Fans who watched last year's World Championship will remember him vividly, especially since Bin famously tunneled on him using Rek'Sai in their matchup. Dhokla is also the first Indian player to have secured solo kills against both Knight and Bin.

After winning the league championship, Dhokla publicly thanked BLG and Bin in a post-match interview. He revealed that he had previously considered retiring from professional play to focus on coaching, but his victory over BLG at last year's World Championship restored his confidence, leading him to resume his playing career this new season. Many LPL fans, upon hearing Dhokla's statement, jokingly praised Bin as "magnificent" and a worthy successor to Faker—after all, Dhokla was ready to retire until Bin's "encouragement" reignited his competitive spirit.

Apart from Dhokla's call-out, the LCK's top team GEN also challenged BLG after winning their title. GEN's star player Ruler stated in an interview that BLG is GEN's biggest opponent in this Vanguard Tournament. His reason is straightforward: BLG's duo carries are exceptionally strong, and bot laner Viper along with mid laner Knight will put significant pressure on GEN. Do you think BLG can restore LPL's glory during the Vanguard Tournament? Also, since every team will face each other once in this tournament, do you believe Bin can successfully get his revenge on Dhokla?

LOL champions from all four major regions are now determined

Due to the Spring Festival holiday in the LPL, their playoffs progressed slightly later than other regions. Currently, aside from the LPL, the champion teams from all other regions have been decided: GEN from the LCK, G2 from the LEC, LYON from the LCS, LLL from the CBLOL, and TSW from the LCP. (TSW also has a familiar face for LPL fans: Warhorse, the former championship coach of FPX.)

The LCK, like the LPL, has two slots for the Vanguard Tournament, so the LCK runner-up FBX also qualified. Many viewers, learning that the LPL also secured two slots, credited TES for this—although TES's international performance last year was disappointing, their run to the semifinals in the previous World Championship earned enough points for the LPL to receive a second Vanguard Tournament slot. In contrast, other regions (except the LCK) only grant qualification to their league champion.

LPL fans, after seeing which teams advanced, are now pondering whether the LPL can achieve a good result in this Vanguard Tournament. Many believe that given BLG's current strength, no team except GEN can truly challenge them. There is even strong anticipation for BLG to win the Vanguard Tournament title. After all, LPL caster Miller remarked during the transfer period that with BLG's financial investment and roster construction, failing to win a world championship would be considered a failed rebuild.
