Hello to all LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is Global Game Hub.
The LOL Global Pioneer Tournament just witnessed the first match of the China-Korea showdown between BLG and BFX. BLG completely dominated from the start, crushing BFX early and overpowering them throughout the game.

Bin and Knight showcased their individual skills brilliantly, outplaying their opponents in every position.
BLG went wild in the first game, with Knight achieving two solo kills.
In the first game, BLG's draft prioritized securing the mid-lane Ryze, pairing it with Jarvan IV to form a tempo-oriented mid-jungle combo. Then they selected a fighter champion, Weapon Master, for Bin to leverage his lane dominance, while the bot lane chose Varus and Alistar. BFX, on the other hand, later picked Kai'Sa for their core player Diable and opted for a tempo mid-jungle with Taliyah and Vi.

Overall, both teams' compositions had some tempo potential, but BFX's side-lane pressure was stronger. BLG needed to capitalize more on their lane advantages.
Right from the start, intense clashes erupted in the top and mid lanes. After a skill exchange between Knight and Vilca, Knight prevailed, and Vicla made a mistake, allowing Knight to chase him down for a solo kill. Then BLG's top and jungle coordinated, forcing Wolfmother to teleport back after baiting out his skills, and Clear misplayed by not retreating, resulting in a kill for BLG.

After securing the lead, BLG caught Raptor in the jungle and eliminated him, then engaged in a jungle skirmish, trading one for two and steadily expanding their advantage. Knight again shone in the mid lane, diving under the tier-one turret to solo-kill Vicla a second time. Seeing his teammate's solo kill, top laner Bin also stepped up, solo-killing Wolfmother himself. Within just 9 minutes, BLG had already achieved three solo kills.
Mid-game double team wipe, BLG wins the first game easily.
Despite the huge advantage, BFX attempted a counterattack by targeting Bin in the top lane with their jungle, successfully killing him. BLG responded by sending their mid and jungle to the bot lane via teleport to kill the support. Unfortunately, Diable managed a precise trade, taking down Alistar. BLG secured one dragon and three lane critters as map resources.
Another clash in the mid lane resulted in exchanges between the jungle and support positions, but BLG still maintained control of the situation.

At 12 minutes, BFX initiated an aggressive move in the mid lane. Raptor attempted a lock-on but entered turret range and was outplayed by Xun's Jarvan IV, giving up his own life. By this point, top laner Clear's score was 0-3, while the jungle was at 3-3.
At 14 minutes, Raptor made an error by deep-warding in the jungle, got surrounded by BLG, and immediately died. Then BLG, with a 5 vs. 4 advantage, used Ryze's ultimate to teleport and dive under the turret, forcing a team wipe while only losing Alistar. At this stage, the match seemed already decided.

Edit
At the 20-minute mark, BFX aggressively dove under the turret to kill Ryze, but BLG's four players quickly flanked them. Bin transformed into a god of war, charging into the fray alone and eliminating both enemy carries. After wiping the team once more, BLG seized the Baron.

With an overwhelming lead, BFX tried to stall, but BLG's advantage was too great. Even when BFX managed to eliminate one player first in a team fight, Bin could still easily clean up, ending the game with an impressive 11-1 score and securing victory.
Crushing through sheer skill, BLG is in good form.
I believe this match was purely a demonstration of BLG's superior mechanical skill. This performance pleasantly surprised LPL viewers because, in previous international tournaments, LPL teams often started slowly. But this time, BLG was fully ignited, playing aggressively without seeking stability, purely aiming for top and mid lane dominance.

As a young LCK team, BFX appeared visibly nervous in their first international major game and didn't perform at their usual league level. Especially their top and mid laners were almost completely outplayed.
Before the match started, we all knew top laner Clear was BFX's biggest weakness, but it was unexpected that Vicla would also be crushed. Remember, Vicla's performance in the LCK league was comparable to Faker's, yet he was completely dismantled by Knight in the first game.

Of course, a dominant first game doesn't guarantee winning the BO5 series. The matches between these two teams will continue. BLG needs to maintain focus and not relax. Although Bin disregarded BFX in pre-match interviews, they must still respect their opponent in actual play, especially since LCK teams are known for strong in-game adjustments. BLG should remain cautious in the upcoming games.
