LOL champion skin major upgrade! First-ever T2 Prestige, all quality maxed out, T1 absolutely dominating

Hello everyone, fellow LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is World Game Hub.

Last year, T1 achieved an epic three-peat, and as per tradition, Riot designs a new set of championship skins for them. This morning, the T1 championship skins were fully revealed, and they are truly eye-catching.

This time, the championship skins have introduced a new concept—the first-ever T2 Prestige tier.

Championship skins upgraded, introducing T2 Prestige

League of Legends championship skins have indeed evolved over the seasons. Early championship skins were cheaper, had simpler concepts, and lacked chromas or prestige editions. Of course, even in the older days, there were many high-quality championship skin lines, because designers had more creative ideas back then. Nowadays, with more skins being released, it's increasingly difficult to satisfy players.

The biggest challenge designers face is player fatigue. If championship skins lack creativity or novelty, or if splash art or models have issues, they will face criticism from players.

To address this, Riot has continuously upgraded the tier of championship skins, introducing championship prestige skins, granting an extra prestige skin to the FMVP winner.

This year, the championship skins have undergone another major upgrade—introducing the concept of Prestige T2 for the first time.

The biggest winner is undoubtedly Gumayusi. He won FMVP last year and chose Jinx and Miss Fortune for his skins, with Miss Fortune as the prestige. The final revealed version features a completely reworked champion animation for Prestige Miss Fortune, reaching an unprecedented T2 level.

Skin quality maxed out, T1 completely wins

Upon release, Prestige Miss Fortune received universal praise from players. The model, splash art, effects, and T2 animation changes are all outstanding. The color scheme perfectly matches T1's style while showcasing Miss Fortune's heroic and spirited characteristics—arguably one of Riot's highest-quality works.

After this skin was revealed, many players were reminded of the Lillia skin from the Spring Festival period. These two skins are on a similar level, being some of Riot's rare peak works in recent years.

At the same time, the brilliance of the T1 championship skins is not limited to just this one; the designs for other players are equally impressive.

Faker's Galio skin features spectacular skill effects, with a well-coordinated model and color scheme that showcase the champion's imposing presence—the highlight being the transformation of the W ability's visual effects.

The coolest skin, however, belongs to Oner's Xin Zhao. The entire model, effects, and the cape animation during recall reach new heights of style, easily making it one of the best Xin Zhao skins ever.

Doran's Ambessa, Gumayusi's Jinx, and Keria's Seraphine each have their own highlights, all above average.

Miss Fortune redemption method: possibly 200 Mythic Essence

In my opinion, among the T1 championship skins, the best-designed one is definitely Prestige Miss Fortune—T0 tier. Then Galio and Xin Zhao can be ranked T1 tier, while Ambessa, Seraphine, and Jinx are T2 tier. All six skins are worth purchasing. What most players care about is how to obtain Prestige Miss Fortune.

Normally, championship prestige skins can be redeemed for 150 Mythic Essence. However, with this prestige upgrade adding T2 features, Riot might adjust the price.

According to leaks from overseas, Prestige Miss Fortune will first be available in the shop at a legendary skin price, then later added to the Mythic Shop for possibly 200 Mythic Essence. If you plan to use Mythic Essence to redeem it, it's recommended to stock up in advance.

Normally, using Mythic Essence is more cost-effective, as battle passes or event books are cheaper compared to buying legendary skins directly. You'll also accumulate some Essence from opening chests. Using extra Essence from events to redeem this skin is well worth it, and hopefully, it will be properly added to the Mythic Shop.
