IG2-0 made a comeback to defeat WBG! Rookie's Yone turned the tide in a critical moment, while Breathe's Gwen did his best.

In the third segment of the LPL, IG and WBG faced off in a best-of-three series, and after two fierce games, IG defeated WBG with a score of 2-0!

In the first game, IG's top laner was Sion, with Pantheon in the jungle, Orianna in the mid lane, and Kai'Sa paired with Rakan in the bot lane; WBG had Aatrox in the top lane, Xin Zhao in the jungle, Taliyah in the mid lane, and Sivir alongside Alistar in the bot lane. During the laning phase, IG's jungler attempted to gank the top lane, but they failed to kill Breathe's Aatrox under the tower, and instead, TheShy’s Sion was killed by the tower. Early on, WBG had a gold lead of 1K.

In the mid-game, both teams contested the Rift Herald, where Wei's Pantheon secured it. Gala's Kai'Sa used her ultimate to burst down Light's Sivir, leading IG to eliminate three members of WBG. At the 28-minute mark, IG proactively went for the Baron, but Tian's Xin Zhao failed to steal it. IG secured the first Baron, and subsequently, they wiped out WBG in a team fight. Ultimately, after claiming the soul of the Ocean Dragon at the 30-minute mark, IG pushed into the base and took down all five members of WBG, securing victory in the first game. Gala's Kai'Sa dealt the most damage in this match.

In the second game, WBG had Gwen in the top lane, Vi in the jungle, Viktor in the mid lane, and Rumble paired with Leona in the bot lane; IG had Aatrox in the top lane, Maokai in the jungle, Yone in the mid lane, and Rakan with Xayah in the bot lane. During the laning phase, TheShy’s Aatrox made an aggressive move, but Breathe’s Gwen, at level 5, successfully countered and solo-killed TheShy’s Aatrox, giving WBG first blood. Early on, WBG took down the top lane first blood tower and secured the Rift Herald, while IG managed to claim two dragons, keeping the economy relatively even. In the mid-game, WBG secured the Rift Herald. At the 25-minute mark, Rookie's Yone was caught and killed in the jungle, leading WBG to take the dragon, while the rest of IG quickly stole the first Baron, although two members were killed by WBG's response.

In the late game, at the 35-minute mark, WBG secured the second Baron, but after claiming it, Liu Qingsong's Rumble was solo-killed by Rookie's Yone in the jungle, allowing IG to secure the Ocean Dragon soul. At the 42-minute mark, both teams contested the Elder Dragon, where Gala's Xayah secured it and then flashed in to deal damage. However, Breathe’s Gwen executed a perfect three-part ultimate, resulting in IG losing the fight 3 for 4. At the 44-minute mark, IG secured the third Baron. At the 47-minute mark, both teams clashed in the top lane, where Breathe’s Gwen played like a warrior, taking down Gala’s Xayah. WBG managed to score a 1 for 4 trade, but Rookie’s Yone delayed the game until his teammates respawned, preventing WBG from finishing. At the 48-minute mark, WBG failed to end the game at the high ground, and once Rookie's Yone respawned, he took down Xiaohu's Viktor. IG countered and eliminated WBG's carries, allowing them to wipe out four members of WBG at the high ground, completing the comeback and securing victory in the match.
