IG2-0 defeated JDG, securing their fifth victory! Gala achieved another pentakill, and theshy executed a perfect team fight with Ornn.

In the third segment of the LPL, after a fierce BO3 between IG and BLG, IG triumphed over JDG with a 2-0 record, marking their fifth win! They also maintained an undefeated streak against JDG this season.

In the first game, IG's top laner played Sion, the jungler used Scorpion, the mid laner picked Orianna, and the bot lane featured Varus and Alistar; JDG's top laner was Aatrox, the jungler chose Pantheon, the mid laner played Taliyah, and their bot lane had Jayce and Rakan. At 8 minutes, xun's Pantheon invaded IG's jungle and was caught, with Rookie's Orianna securing first blood. Both teams then contested the Rift Scuttler, where wei's Scorpion flashed in to hit two enemies, allowing IG to take down four in exchange for one. At 16 minutes, JDG attempted to ambush Rookie's Orianna, but IG's timely support turned the tide, resulting in three JDG players being killed, and IG secured the Rift Herald, leading the economy by 2K in the early game.

In the mid-game, IG took down the Rift Herald, and when JDG arrived for a team fight, IG executed a 2-for-5 wipeout of JDG, with Gala's Varus netting another pentakill. At 28 minutes, IG initiated a team fight in the mid lane, killing xun's Pantheon and Peyz's Jayce, and secured the first Baron. Ultimately, in the late game at 30 minutes, JDG attempted to kill Gala's Varus but failed, leading to IG's counter-attack that wiped out JDG, securing victory in the first game.

In the second game, JDG's top laner chose Rumble, the jungler picked Xin Zhao, the mid laner played Ryze, and the bot lane featured Rakan and Xayah; IG's top laner was Ornn, the jungler played Vi, the mid laner chose Annie, and the bot lane had Kai'Sa and Niko. At 2 minutes, xun's Xin Zhao ganked mid and killed Rookie's Annie, giving JDG first blood. In the early game, JDG took down the first blood tower in the top lane, leading the economy by 1K.

In the mid-game, IG took down the Rift Herald, ambushed JDG in their jungle, and killed Scout's Ryze, while theshy's Ornn hit three with his ultimate, allowing IG to achieve a 0-for-4 trade. At 26 minutes, Scout's Ryze was ambushed in the jungle and killed, after which IG initiated a fight to kill wink's Rakan, successfully securing the first Baron. At 28 minutes, JDG tried to take down Gala's Kai'Sa, but Gala narrowly escaped; when IG arrived, Gala cleaned up with low health, resulting in a 1-for-4 trade and pushing down JDG's mid lane inhibitor. In the late game, at 31 minutes, Rookie's Annie flanked from behind, quickly eliminating Scout's Ryze, but Gala's Kai'Sa was caught in the crowd and killed; JDG executed a 1-for-2 trade and secured the second Baron. At 38 minutes, JDG set an ambush in their jungle but failed to kill any IG members, and theshy's Ornn executed a perfect initiation, leading IG to wipe out JDG and claim victory in the match.
