Is the FPX jungler's gambling incident taking a turn? The whistleblower has deleted their account and fled, while Yinhe has posted: Standing firm to the end.

In the third phase of the LPL, during the second round of the round-robin matches, the schedule is nearly halfway through. The two teams at the bottom of the summit group faced off on the last match day. WE can compete with anyone, while FPX has only won against IG. Both teams had only one win before the match, and whoever loses this game would likely secure the last place. The match result was somewhat surprising; this time WE didn't go for a full BO3, directly sweeping FPX 2-0 to claim their second victory.

With a record of 1-8, FPX has five games left, and the theoretical possibility of making it to the playoffs still exists, but honestly, the odds are very low. They might as well prepare for the knight's path. After FPX's match, Yinhe, who was exposed last week for selling BP for profit, suddenly tweeted, announcing that he has begun to defend his rights. He not only sought help from a lawyer but also reported the whistleblower to Uncle Mao, determined to hold them legally accountable.

The whistleblower seems to have realized the seriousness of the issue after Yinhe's post. They went to Yinhe's comment section to apologize, stating that they shouldn't have infringed on personal privacy. However, regarding the sale of BP by Yinhe, this person insisted they were not spreading rumors. After their apology went unanswered, they began to threaten Yinhe again, asking if it was pieced together and suggesting that Uncle should take a look. The accompanying image was still their chat history with Yinhe on VX.

Late-night spectators thought there would be more explosive content, but suddenly this whistleblower backed down and deleted their account. This series of actions essentially confirmed the rumors. If they truly had evidence, they wouldn't have canceled their account at this moment. Seeing the rumor-monger flee, Yinhe also posted again: Deleting your account won’t help; I’ve taken screenshots of everything and will submit them as new evidence.

When FPX announced the termination of cooperation and reported to the league for investigation, everyone thought that the issue of Yinhe selling BP might be true. Following this, the whistleblower Hongcha's comment that "Yinhe's reporting materials are quite solid; a suspension is not far off" almost confirmed the situation. However, unexpectedly, there was a twist this time. Yinhe dared to stand up and confront, which surely indicates they have some confidence, and the whistleblower's flight further highlights the issue.

The VX account shared by the whistleblower indeed belongs to Yinhe, but the chat records seem to have been pieced together. Someone with ill intentions combined different chat records to fabricate rumors. A normal person wouldn't be able to tell, but whether there's truly a reversal or not will depend on the league's official investigation results. For now, we cannot draw conclusions hastily, but the likelihood of rumors being spread is quite high.

In fact, the most unreasonable part of the entire incident is that Yinhe gained fame last year while playing for FPX. The official awarded him the Best Rookie of the Year based on his outstanding performance. Although his condition has been average this year and his strength has clearly declined, finding a job shouldn't be a big problem. If he could perform like last year, joining a top-tier team is not out of the question. Engaging in violations at this point is completely unreasonable.

A jungler who has gained some fame and may have the opportunity to join the strongest team, after receiving the Best Rookie award, would not choose to sell team BP for profit. No player would make such a choice. Most of the players previously exposed for match-fixing in the LPL were from the LDL period, when they saw no hope of advancing to the LPL and chose to abandon their principles to make a quick buck.

Conclusion:

The whistleblower has deleted their account and fled, feeling that a reversal is not far off. However, even if they deleted their account, they likely can't escape. Their account data can be preserved for a while, and Uncle will definitely be able to trace the information. If it turns out to be a rumor, this whistleblower will bear legal responsibility, so let’s wait for further developments.

So what do you think, is this a reversal?
