The Vietnamese team officially advanced to the quarterfinals of the Predator WPA Teams 10-Ball World Championship 2026 following a convincing 3-0 victory over Indonesia in the losers' bracket, continuing their resilient journey in Las Vegas, USA.

Previously, the players in red had a perfect start by defeating the Netherlands 3-0 in the Winner Round 1. However, a real challenge came in the next match when Vietnam faced the English team. Against the overwhelming strength of Jayson Shaw and his teammates, they suffered a 0-3 defeat and were forced into the losers' bracket.

Vietnam entered the match against Indonesia with the highest determination. In the opening team set (3 players rotating turns, race to 4), the Vietnamese players quickly imposed their game. Their ability to control the pace, precise safety plays, and accuracy in crucial situations helped the team build an early lead and close the set with a convincing win.

The second set saw a commendable effort from the young talent Albert Januarta on the Indonesian side. Despite being only 18 years old, this player performed steadily and was a rare bright spot for the opponent. However, the inconsistency of his teammates prevented Indonesia from maintaining pressure.
