Cha Lamine Yamal speaks out amid rumors of his son's 'piloting' controversy
Speculations regarding a connection between Barcelona's wonderkid Lamine Yamal and Argentine singer Nicki Nicole have caused a media buzz lately, yet the player's father has come forward to refute them.

Footage captured by TikToker Rosy Pereyro and shared by journalist Javier de Hoyos showed them together in Monaco, fueling further speculation.
Shortly after, Europa Press contacted Mr. Mounir Nasraoui — Yamal’s father — to verify the truth. He responded firmly: “Honestly, I don’t know anything about it because I don’t interfere in such matters. If something serious happens, I will speak up; otherwise, let it live its own life.”
He went further to openly deny any connection to the Argentine singer: “I don’t know who she is. I don’t even recognize her image or face... I can’t tell you if they are dating or not, I simply don’t know.”
He also emphasized that the public should respect Yamal’s privacy: “These are just silly things, childish stuff. I can’t constantly watch who my son is hanging out with. Please, everyone deserves some privacy. I’m not the type of father who spies on his son.”
At the same time, he clearly stated his stance: “Everyone has their own life; I respect my son’s choices and want to stay out of the rumors.”
Previously, suspicions about Yamal and Nicki Nicole’s relationship emerged from the player’s 18th birthday party in Barcelona. Later, sources claimed they showed affectionate gestures at a nightclub and even vacationed together in Monaco. The situation attracted more attention when Nicki Nicole was spotted in the stands at the Joan Gamper Trophy, wearing Yamal’s jersey during the match against Como.
However, so far neither Lamine Yamal nor Nicki Nicole has made any official statements. While media and social networks continue to speculate, Yamal’s family has chosen to remain silent, only affirming that the 18-year-old player needs to be left alone to focus on his flourishing career at Barcelona.
With straightforward words, Yamal’s father has somewhat ended the noisy speculation surrounding the unclear love story, while sending a clear message: the family does not care about rumors, and everyone should respect the young player’s privacy.
