The opening match of Round 2 will take place on the evening of August 22 at Hang Day Stadium, where The Cong Viettel hosts Ho Chi Minh City Police. After a dramatic draw in the “Capital derby” against CAHN, coach Popov’s team now faces another police force representative, the newcomer Ho Chi Minh City Police. This promises to be an intriguing tactical battle to start the round.

On August 23, a series of matches will unfold. SHB Da Nang returns to Hoa Xuan Stadium after a commendable draw at Thanh Hoa to host Hong Linh Ha Tinh. The Han River club aims to secure all 3 points. Meanwhile, HLHT recently lost 1-3 at home to Ninh Binh, showing a significant decline in strength.

The newcomer Ninh Binh is full of enthusiasm after their away victory at HLHT. In their first home game in the V-League, coach Gerard Albadalejo’s squad is expected to continue attacking against Thanh Hoa – a team still struggling to find their style under coach Choi Won-kwon.
