The Vietnam National Team will regroup on August 29 in Hanoi.

This is the third training camp of 2025 for the team, primarily aimed at reviewing, assessing, and evaluating the squad in preparation for upcoming matches in the final round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers scheduled for October.

Therefore, the current call-up list includes not only the main squad players but also new talents such as goalkeeper Quan Van Chuan (Hanoi), defenders Tran Hoang Phuc (CA HCMC), Dinh Quang Kiet (HAGL), midfielder Ly Cong Hoang Anh (Thep Xanh Nam Dinh), and forward Pham Gia Hung (Ninh Binh). Additionally, the team welcomes back midfielder Doan Ngoc Tan (Dong A Thanh Hoa) and defender Phan Tuan Tai (The Cong Viettel) after recovering from injuries.

Because head coach Kim Sang Sik is occupied leading the Vietnam U23 team during the 2026 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers at the same time, the Vietnam National Team's training is delegated to acting head coach Dinh Hong Vinh.
