World Footballer of the Year 11 shortlist announced: Messi is shortlisted again! Real Madrid 6 people, Manchester City double core

On November 29, Beijing time, FIFA announced the 11-man shortlist for the 2024 Player of the Year (World Footballer of the Year), with Messi, Mbappe, Haaland, Vinicius, Rodri and others on the list.

Of the 11 candidates, Champions League winners Real Madrid have six selected, while last season's Premier League champions have Rodri and Haaland in the middle, and Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen and Inter Miami have one each. Among them, Messi became the only player in the 11-man shortlist who did not play in the Europa League.
