From November 30th to December 1st, the 2024 9th "Wanli Tire" Cup Youth 3x3 Football Match was held at the Guangzhou Children's Park Football Stadium (No. 61, Qixin Road, Baiyun District, Guangzhou). At the same time, the event is also an important component of the 2024 Guangzhou 10th Outdoor Sports Festival Community Games.

The grassroots football culture in Guangdong has always been strong, and various 11-a-side, 7-a-side, 8-a-side, 5-a-side and 3-a-side football matches and activities have been widely carried out. In contrast, three-a-side football is one of the simplest and most effective ways to popularize football. It covers a small area, can use more venues, controllable amount of exercise, takes into account competitiveness and entertainment, suitable for both men and women, young and old, especially suitable for the exercise and growth of teenagers and children, and has broad development prospects.

The "Wanli Tire" Cup Youth 3x3 Football Tournament hosted by Guangdong Vanlead Celebrity Football Club has been successfully held for 8 sessions, attracting a large number of football enthusiasts in Guangzhou to participate in each session, and has now become a local 3x3 football brand event in Guangdong.

There are 4 categories in this competition, namely U8 men's group, U10 men's group, women's group and open group, each group has 8 teams participating, and the two-stage system of group round-robin and knockout round is adopted.

This tournament implements the "3x3 Football Competition Rules" formulated by Guangdong Wanli Celebrity Football Club. Each match must be decided, and when the legal time is tied, the winner and loser will be decided directly by kicking each other on penalties without overtime. In the first stage of the group round-robin, the winner will be divided in the legal time, with 3 points for a win and 0 points for the loser. In the legal time, the draw is divided into two points for one win and 1 point for the loser. The top three winners in each category of the competition will have cash prizes, with the first prize of 1,000 yuan, the second prize of 800 yuan, and the third prize of 500 yuan.

The participating teams in this tournament include a number of high-level youth football clubs in Guangzhou, as well as a number of well-known local amateur men's and women's football clubs, and many of the registered participants have even participated in all the previous 8 competitions.
