Both goals for Vietnam's U16 women's team against Myanmar were scored from penalty kicks.

The turning point came in the 55th minute when the ball bounced back to the second line, Ngọc Ánh took a shot that hit defender Pin Myint Yan’s hand, resulting in a penalty for Vietnam U16. Unfortunately, Ngọc Ánh missed the penalty, missing the chance to score the first goal.

In the 69th minute, Vietnam's U16 women continued their luck with penalty situations. Seizing the opportunity, Lê Thị Hồng Thái delivered a precise shot, opening the score 1-0 amid the red team's celebration. After scoring, Lê Thị Hồng Thái was substituted by coach Okiyama to rest, replaced by Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Anh.

At the 85th minute, under the strong attacking momentum of Vietnam's U16 women, Myanmar's U16 defense struggled and committed a foul inside the penalty area. For the third time in the match, Vietnam U16 was awarded a penalty. Ngọc Ánh was entrusted again and scored her first goal in the tournament, sealing the 2-0 victory for Vietnam U16 women.
