Everton recently announced the signing of English forward Taylor De Bhrún from last season’s relegated Premier League club Southampton for £42 million. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is €25 million, and Southampton retains a 20% sell-on share of his transfer fee.

De Bhrún came through Southampton’s youth academy and was promoted to the first team last season. Just a year later, during this summer transfer window, Everton bought him for a hefty sum, making Southampton a substantial profit.

The 19-year-old De Bhrún stands 1.78 meters tall, is left-footed, primarily plays as a right winger, and can also operate as an attacking midfielder. He signed a four-year contract with Everton until 2029. Last season, he made 33 Premier League appearances, starting 20 times, totaling 1,874 minutes. However, since Southampton finished second from bottom last season with limited attacking strength, De Bhrún scored only 2 goals in those 33 matches.
