The offense remains stagnant, Thanh Hóa still has not secured a win in the V-League

Thanh Hóa Club keeps underperforming after their defeat against Hà Tĩnh in the 3rd round of the 2025/2026 V-League.

Despite having a fairly strong squad and being led by former Vietnam national team assistant Choi Won Kwon, Thanh Hóa Club is still facing numerous challenges in the V-League. After earning just 1 point from the first 2 matches, Thanh Hóa struggled again in their away game against Hà Tĩnh.

Although Thanh Hóa controlled possession slightly better, they were unable to break through Hà Tĩnh’s defense. Meanwhile, the home team did not take risks by pushing forward aggressively. The match was rather dull, with almost no significant chances created by either side.

Finally, in the 44th minute, foreign player Charles Atshimene scored the opening goal. From a corner kick by Mai Sỹ Hoàng, the Nigerian striker rose unmarked to head the ball. Thanh Hóa’s goalkeeper was unable to save despite fully stretching to reach it.
