Nam Dinh stages a comeback to defeat PVF-CAND at home

In the 3rd round of the 2025/26 V-League, Thep Xanh Nam Dinh achieved a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over newcomers PVF-CAND at Thien Truong Stadium.

The visitors unexpectedly took the lead at 45+2 minutes when Thanh Nhan skillfully maneuvered and fired a decisive shot past Nam Dinh’s goalkeeper. However, early in the second half, Nam Dinh equalized thanks to PVF-CAND’s defender Alain who accidentally scored an own goal from Romulo’s corner kick (51’).

The home team then intensified pressure and converted it in the 65th minute: Brenner advanced down the right flank and passed to Caio Cesar, the Brazilian midfielder who skillfully controlled the ball before delivering a precise finish to secure a 2-1 win for Nam Dinh.

This valuable three points helped the defending champions bounce back strongly after the shock of the previous round, while PVF-CAND continues to face many difficulties in their debut V-League season.
