A V-League match had to be paused due to a power outage.

The game between Hà Tĩnh and Thanh Hóa in the 3rd round of the 2025/2026 V-League was halted due to a blackout.

At the 65th minute of the Hà Tĩnh vs Thanh Hóa match, the Hà Tĩnh stadium suddenly went dark. The cause was a problem with the stadium’s lighting system, forcing the match to be suspended while the organizers worked to fix the issue.

Before the match, Hà Tĩnh stadium had already suffered some damage from the impact of storm number 5. Nevertheless, the game proceeded as originally scheduled. The lighting system functioned properly for about the first 60 minutes until the unexpected stoppage at the 65th minute.

It took more than 30 minutes for the stadium organizers to resolve the power outage at Hà Tĩnh stadium so the match could resume normally. The game restarted at the 67th minute, with the home team Hà Tĩnh still leading 1-0 thanks to Atshimene’s goal near the end of the first half.

Before this match, Thanh Hóa was temporarily at the bottom of the table with only 1 point from 2 games. Under the guidance of new coach Choi Won Kwon, Thanh Hóa, despite high expectations, has been underperforming. In the opening match, Thanh Hóa drew 1-1 with SHB Đà Nẵng and then suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to newcomers Ninh Bình in round 2.
