Arsenal had an impressive summer transfer window, and recently, they further strengthened their squad by signing Eberechi Eze – a player praised by Mark Lawrenson as a "superstar".

Arsenal entered this summer with the goal of upgrading their squad and have spent heavily to bring in many quality players. Speaking on TalkSPORT, expert Mark Lawrenson commented on Arsenal’s start this season. He noted that the Gunners have played very well despite some injury issues with Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard. However, Lawrenson gave special praise to Eze, considering him a quality signing.

“Arsenal have started well, but they are missing a few players, right? I think they will be out for a few weeks. Nevertheless, signing Eze from Palace was a brilliant decision, I believe he is an outstanding player,” Lawrenson shared.

Although Eze hasn’t had remarkable success against Liverpool, with just one win and one goal in seven matches against the Reds, Lawrenson believes that in a new team with fresh motivation, Eze can shine and make a difference. Especially, the upcoming game against Liverpool this weekend will be an opportunity for Eze to prove his abilities, despite the challenge being tough.
