On a day of outstanding performance, Vietnam’s futsal team secured a decisive win against China, gaining a stronger position in the 2026 Asian Futsal Qualifiers.
Vietnam’s futsal team delivered an explosive performance by defeating China 7-2 in the Asian futsal qualifiers. From the very first second, Coach Diego Giustozzi’s squad scored and quickly doubled the lead within 3 minutes thanks to a brace from Vũ Ngọc Ánh. The dominance continued as Đa Hải scored in the 10th minute, followed by Thịnh Phát finishing the first half with a simple tap-in to make it 5-0.
In the second half, Vietnam’s futsal team slowed the pace but still made a strong impact. Thịnh Phát completed a hat-trick with two consecutive goals in the 33rd and 34th minutes, extending the lead to 7-0. Despite efforts to rally, China managed only two consolation goals late in the match, including a successful free kick against the wall.
The 7-2 victory not only confirmed Vietnam futsal’s superior strength but also solidified their top spot in the group, nearly securing qualification, needing only a draw against Lebanon in the final match to achieve their goal.
