Hoàng Đức conveys his sentiments following the 2-0 win against Nam Định, with Ninh Bình maintaining their unbeaten streak and solidifying their position as a leading candidate in the V-League.

Ninh Bình secured a 2-0 win over Nam Định in an emotional derby, reclaiming the top spot on the table. The match not only demonstrated Ninh Bình’s collective strength but also showcased Hoàng Đức’s impressive performance, who scored the opening goal, assisted the second, and spoke passionately after the game.

After securing all three points with his team, Hoàng Đức thanked his teammates and the fans: “I congratulate the entire team for playing unitedly to achieve the win against Nam Định. I also appreciate the fans of both Ninh Bình and Nam Định for creating an amazing atmosphere, from the pitch to the stands. The midfielder also revealed that the derby held special significance for the whole team: “Before the match, the club president personally encouraged us and emphasized that this game had to be won to extend our unbeaten streak from the First Division to the V-League. The team and I listened carefully and followed the tactics to achieve the desired result.”

When asked if his goal was the turning point of the match, Hoàng Đức responded calmly and modestly: “I scored a goal today, but personally, I think the important thing is the overall result. Every goal scorer matters as long as it leads to a victory for the team.”

Regarding Ninh Bình’s chances of competing for the championship this season, Hoàng Đức believes it is still too early to say: “It’s only the fourth match so far. The team and I will rest and focus on the next game against Hải Phòng, taking steady steps toward our ultimate goal.”
