Cebu FC features numerous talented foreign players ready for their match against CLB CAHN.
CLB CAHN will host Cebu (Philippines) at Hàng Đẫy Stadium at 7:30 PM on September 24th, as part of the second round in Group A of the Southeast Asian Club Championship – Shopee Cup 2025/26. Since both CAHN and Cebu lost their opening matches, both teams will be highly motivated for this encounter.
Cebu FC has shown thorough preparation by arriving in Vietnam early to better adapt to the climate and playing conditions. Right after their victory over Stallion in the Philippine domestic league on September 20th, Cebu FC flew to Hanoi to get ready for the match against CAHN.
This season, Cebu FC has heavily invested in a series of quality foreign players such as Denil Ango (Cameroon), Sam Azimzadeh (Canada), Anderson Pinto (Portugal), Victor Luis (Brazil), Kazuha Sudo, and Yuto Nomura (Japan)... Additionally, they still have a highly skilled goalkeeper, Rami Jeridi, a Tunisian national team player who is 40 years old but remains fairly consistent in performance.
In the Southeast Asian Club Championship – Shopee Cup 2025/26, each team is allowed to use only 7 foreign players per match (including at least one Asian player). Therefore, Cebu FC can field a lineup with 7 foreign players along with 4 domestic players to maximize their strength.
Head coach Glenn Ramos of Dynamic Herb Cebu (Philippines) highly praises the quality of the Công an Hà Nội squad but remains determined to secure 3 points at Hàng Đẫy. “I am very excited to come to Vietnam to face a very strong opponent like Công an Hà Nội. The entire team is ready.
I have watched Công an Hà Nội play, most recently against the host Beijing Guoan (China) in the AFC Cup 2. They have a well-balanced squad with quality foreign players. I am most impressed by Alan, who is a very dangerous striker. However, Cebu FC is prepared to face the strongest team in the V-League at this moment. We have prepared thoroughly and aim to achieve a victory at Hàng Đẫy."
