Coach Alonso makes a statement that sends shivers across Europe

Coach Xabi Alonso issued strong comments after Real Madrid's win against Levante in the 6th round of La Liga.

Real Madrid continues their impressive form since the season's start with a commanding 4-1 win over Levante in the 6th round of La Liga. Notably, this marks Los Blancos' sixth consecutive victory in Spain's top division this season.

After the match, Coach Xabi Alonso emphasized that Real Madrid is on the right track both in terms of results and style of play, while aiming to secure more wins in upcoming games.

Specifically, the Spanish tactician stated: "We just finished the match, and I am fully focused on today's performance as well as the goals ahead. Starting tomorrow, we will begin preparing for the derby.

"We are still in the process of building and developing. The whole team has only been working together for 51 days; there is a long road ahead. Our objective is to establish a solid foundation capable of competing in La Liga, the Champions League, and the Copa del Rey. Every player feels connected and is an important part of the squad.

"There are still many things to improve, but we are moving in the right direction, not just in results but also in how the team implements our style of play. This is just the beginning, and we want to maintain this form to compete at the highest level."

Since taking charge, Coach Alonso has shown a style different from his predecessor Carlo Ancelotti. The 43-year-old manager is willing to trust talented young players like Arda Guler and Mastantouno, and no longer views Vinicius as irreplaceable, giving Rodrygo opportunities instead.

Moreover, Alonso has helped free Kylian Mbappe mentally, with the French striker scoring consistently lately, becoming a key element that keeps the royal team firmly at the top of La Liga.

Regarding the team's performance against Levante, Alonso added: "We had chances to score a third and even a fourth goal before halftime. The opportunities created were enough, but a 2-0 lead can sometimes be fragile, giving a false sense of security that can be quickly overturned. When Levante reduced the score to 1-2, the match became more intense.

"However, just minutes later, we extended the lead to 3-1, after which Levante had no chance to fight back. We controlled the game well and then secured the fourth goal. This was a disciplined and complete performance. It's not easy to come to this stadium, win, and play so convincingly."

With six straight wins, Real Madrid solidifies their top spot with 18 points, five points clear of second-placed Barcelona, who have played one more match.
