Vietnam Futsal Triumphs Over Lebanon, Secures Spot in Asian Futsal Championship Finals

The Vietnam futsal squad secured a decisive win over Lebanon, earning their place in the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship finals by winning all their qualifying matches.

Vietnam’s futsal team concluded the 2026 Asian qualifiers with a commanding 4-0 win against Lebanon, thereby advancing with an unbeaten record.

From the opening minutes, Coach Diego Giustozzi’s players showed great confidence. Within just one minute (9th minute), Vietnam scored twice: Đa Hải opened the scoring with a clean interception and finish, followed by Mạnh Dũng doubling the lead on a swift counterattack. By the 11th minute, Ngọc Ánh made a penetrating run down the left wing and assisted Từ Minh Quang to easily extend the score to 3-0.

In the second half, Lebanon faced difficulties after one of their players received a red card following a foul on Ngọc Ánh. Taking advantage of the numerical superiority, Vietnam scored their fourth goal in the 26th minute with Ngọc Ánh finishing precisely from close range.

The 4-0 victory confirmed Vietnam futsal’s dominant strength in the group, finishing the qualifiers with a flawless record.
