Tuan Hai confirms that Hanoi FC has thoroughly prepared for the match against Thanh Hoa.

Hanoi FC will host Dong A Thanh Hoa at 19:15 on September 26th in the 5th round of the LPBank V-League 2025/26. Striker Tuan Hai, who just netted his first goal this season, confirms that the entire team is prepared.

"Personally, I think every match in the V-League is tough because all teams invest seriously. They play with strong determination, so we must work hard to earn points. Up to now, the whole squad has made detailed preparations for the match against Thanh Hoa. Coach Adachi has carefully drilled tactics in recent days.

I joined Hanoi in the 2022 season, and every season the team tends to start slower than rivals. The teammates always motivate each other to get through those difficult periods.

In football, when results are unfavorable, pressure comes. But as players, everyone must accept, confront, and overcome it, because the league is long, not just 1 or 2 matches. What matters is how we stand back up after defeat.

The goal against The Cong Viettel helped me relieve some pressure after a dry spell of scoring. Last season, I only scored for Hanoi around rounds 3 or 4. So every time I play, I always try to perform my best. Recently, I returned to the striker position and hope to keep scoring goals for the club," Tuan Hai shared in an interview before Hanoi FC’s training on the afternoon of September 24th.

Hanoi FC started the 2025/26 season poorly. After 4 rounds, the Hang Day Stadium team still has no wins, ranking 11th with only 2 points, 10 points behind the leader Ninh Binh.

The poor performance forced Hanoi FC’s management to dismiss coach Makoto Teguramori. Shortly after, technical director Yusuke Adachi was appointed as interim head coach.

Moreover, Hanoi FC also changed the team manager position. Mr. Le Trong Thuy was registered to replace Mr. Dao Viet Anh.

After 4 matches without a victory, Hanoi FC will host Thanh Hoa at home in round 5 of the 2025/26 V-League. This is a chance for Mr. Bau Hien’s team to secure all 3 points and improve their rank on the table.
