VIDEO: U17 Hanoi advances to the final of the 2025 National U17 Championship

The reigning champion Hanoi secured a spot in the final of the 2025 National U17 Championship by overcoming Da Nang.

By winning against U17 SHB Da Nang in the first semifinal on the afternoon of September 24, the defending U17 Hanoi champions earned the first ticket to the final of the National U17 Championship – Thai Son Nam Cup 2025.

In the 17th minute, from a not very threatening long ball by Nguyen Luc, U17 SHB Da Nang’s goalkeeper Hoang Phuc failed to catch the ball, letting it slip through his hands. Manh Quan quickly controlled and scored from close range, putting U17 Hanoi ahead. At the 24th minute, Van Tan headed comfortably after a corner kick from a teammate, but the U17 SHB Da Nang goalkeeper caught it securely.

However, halftime adjustments made by coach Doan Hung Son helped U17 SHB Da Nang perform better in the second half. At the 48th minute, Van An took a free kick just outside the 16.5m line of U17 Hanoi; goalkeeper Ba Huan pushed the ball onto the crossbar and out, and Tin Tin rushed in to head the equalizer for U17 SHB Da Nang, making it 1-1.

U17 SHB Da Nang then created a fairly good game against U17 Hanoi. Nevertheless, their defense was somewhat confused, allowing U17 Hanoi to generate more dangerous opportunities. At the 72nd minute, Anh Quan handled the ball inside the penalty area, resulting in a penalty kick. Manh Quan did not miss this excellent chance to score, putting the defending champions ahead 2-1.
