1 CLB is ready to welcome Harry Kane back to the Premier League.

Coach Thomas Frank emphasized that Tottenham always keeps the door open for Harry Kane to come back to the Premier League.

The possibility of Harry Kane returning to Tottenham after his time at Bayern Munich has become a hot topic among fans in both England and Germany. Against this backdrop, Thomas Frank, who took over as Tottenham’s head coach this summer, shared his candid thoughts on the matter.

At a press conference ahead of the League Cup match against Doncaster, Frank stated that he and many Tottenham supporters are eager to see Kane wear the Spurs jersey once again. “I believe many Tottenham fans, including myself, want Harry Kane to come back. The door is always open for him.”

However, Frank also highlighted a realistic perspective: “Honestly, I don’t think that will happen at the moment. I believe Kane will continue his journey with Bayern and maintain his top form.”

Harry Kane left Tottenham in the summer of 2023 to join Bayern Munich for a transfer fee of 100 million Euros. He was a club icon at Spurs, having scored 213 Premier League goals and played over 400 matches for the London club. With a contract lasting until 2027 at Bayern, the prospect of Kane returning home soon seems unlikely.

Meanwhile, former football legend Lothar Matthaus also shared his views on Kane’s future. Speaking on Sky, the German football icon acknowledged rumors that Kane might return to the Premier League soon to break Alan Shearer’s goal-scoring record. “There are rumors that Kane will come back to England to chase the Premier League record, but I advise him to stay at Bayern,” Matthaus said.

Alan Shearer holds the record for 260 goals in England’s top league, 47 more than Kane. If Kane returns to the Premier League after the 2026 World Cup, when he will be 33, he would have a real chance to set this historic milestone.

However, Matthaus doubts that this record alone is enough to keep Kane in England: “I don’t think Shearer’s record is a true motivation. Kane has already done his ‘homework’ in the Premier League. Therefore, I believe he should finish his career at Bayern.”

From the statements of Coach Thomas Frank and Matthaus, it appears unlikely that Kane will return to Tottenham in the near future. Nevertheless, given the affection Spurs fans have for the 32-year-old striker, the dream of him wearing the white jersey of his former club again remains alive among supporters.
