Vietnamese football fans are able to follow and support the Vietnam National Team during the 2027 Asian Cup qualifying matches.
On October 9 and 14, the Vietnam National Team will play two matches against Nepal as part of Group F in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. Notably, Coach Kim Sang Sik's team will host both games at Binh Duong and Thong Nhat stadiums.
According to the latest updates, broadcasting rights for these matches have been purchased by Vietnamese television stations. Specifically, VTV will live broadcast the away matches of the Vietnam National Team through VTV5, VTV Can Tho channels, and the VTVgo platform. This broadcasting follows VTV’s successful negotiation with the international rights holder.
Meanwhile, the home matches of Coach Kim Sang Sik's team have also been acquired by another broadcaster. This means domestic football fans can fully watch and support all matches of the "Golden Star Warriors" on TV.
The upcoming two matches are crucial for the Vietnam National Team. A victory would increase their chances of qualifying for the 2027 Asian Cup finals and improve their FIFA ranking points. After the first two matches, Vietnam has 3 points, currently ranking second in the group behind Malaysia.
The entire team will regroup during the FIFA Days in October to play two matches against Nepal in the final round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.
