Ninh Binh Club is likely to propose naturalization for two players, Geovane Magno and Janclesio.
According to reliable sources, Ninh Binh Club is expected to suggest naturalizing two Brazilian-born players. It is speculated these will be Geovane Magno and Janclesio, both of whom meet the criteria regarding years played and residency in Vietnam.
Geovane Magno is one of the top foreign players in the V-League. He began his career in Vietnam with Saigon FC in early 2019. Since then, he has attracted interest from major clubs such as Hanoi FC, Hanoi Police, and Viettel Army. Geovane Magno has scored 32 goals in 98 V-League appearances. Notably, after over five years living and playing in Vietnam, he is now considering naturalization.
As for Janclesio, the Brazilian central defender fully qualifies for naturalization, having been associated with Vietnam since 2019. Standing 1.96 meters tall, he is well known to V-League fans for his impressive performances with Viettel, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, and Becamex Binh Duong (now Becamex Ho Chi Minh City).
Over recent seasons, Janclesio has quickly proven himself a reliable defender thanks to his ideal physique, experience, and exceptional aerial ability. In the last two seasons, he has played 44 matches and scored 4 goals. If naturalized successfully, Ninh Binh could add Janclesio as a naturalized player in the second half of the season.
Coach Kim Sang Sik has also commented on this Brazilian duo, stating that both Geovane Magno and Janclesio have the capability to contribute significantly to Vietnamese football in the future.
Ninh Binh’s proposal to naturalize both foreign players demonstrates the club’s strong ambition to maintain its strength and pursue high goals in the V-League. If the naturalization process goes smoothly, Geovane and Janclesio will become key strategic assets for Coach Kim Sang Sik and open new opportunities in their careers in Vietnam.
