Former music star sets a record price to acquire Tottenham, pledging to 'inject funds' for transfers
Tottenham Hotspur is on the verge of an ownership change as an American consortium unexpectedly presents a £4.5 billion offer — a global record for a football club acquisition.
According to SunSport, technology entrepreneur Brooklyn Earick, aged 41, leads a group of 12 investors including personalities from the NFL and NBA. They propose paying £3.3 billion to acquire Tottenham from ENIC and the Lewis family, plus an extra £1.2 billion allocated for the club’s budget — covering salaries, transfer fees, and agent commissions — ready to be given to manager Thomas Frank starting this winter transfer window.

The total £4.5 billion surpasses the previous record of £4.25 billion paid by Todd Boehly’s group to buy Chelsea in 2022. Earick refers to his project as “Tottenham 3.0,” aiming to elevate Spurs from a promising team to genuine contenders for trophies.
Not only promising to invest in the squad, Earick has also prepared a £250 million stadium naming rights sponsorship deal — something former chairman Daniel Levy tried unsuccessfully for six years since the new stadium opened in 2019.
A source close to Earick disclosed: “Spurs already have a world-class stadium and training center, perfect infrastructure. With the upcoming investment, this will be the last step to making them a winning club.”
