Mahmoud Eid receiving a red card in the match against Svay Rieng means Nam Dinh club will be missing one foreign player spot in their upcoming match.

In the opening match of the Southeast Asian Club Cup against Svay Rieng (Cambodia), Nam Dinh fielded all 7 foreign players in the starting lineup, alongside 4 domestic players: A Mit, Van Kien, Van Cong, and Ti Phong. Compared to the AFC Champions League Two which allows unlimited foreign players, the Southeast Asian Club Cup permits a maximum of 7 foreign players, including at least one with Asian nationality.

Therefore, with Mahmoud Eid suspended, Nam Dinh will not be able to use the full quota of 7 foreign players in the next Southeast Asian Club Cup match since they lack any other Asian-nationality players. Nam Dinh can field a maximum of 6 foreign players in the upcoming game against Shan United (Myanmar).
