Hà Nội FC receives bad news ahead of the crucial match against Thanh Hóa

Hà Nội FC is missing key players because central defender Thành Chung is banned from playing due to suspension, making him unavailable for the game against Thanh Hóa on September 26 afternoon.

On the afternoon of September 26, the opening match of round 5 in the 2025/26 V-League season will take place between Hà Nội FC and Thanh Hóa FC at Hàng Đẫy Stadium. This match is among the most exciting of the round since both teams have yet to secure a win this season.

However, before the match kicks off, the home team received disappointing news as central defender Nguyễn Thành Chung is suspended after accumulating three yellow cards this season, which means he cannot play in this game.

This is a significant blow for the capital’s team, especially with foreign player Adriel currently injured. Thành Chung is the most experienced defender in Hà Nội FC’s backline, known for his strength in aerial duels. Nevertheless, coach Yusuke Adachi still has a quality replacement option in Đào Văn Nam for this position.

With the advantage of playing at home and a superior lineup, Hà Nội FC has a chance to claim their first victory of the season. Before the match, striker Phạm Tuấn Hải shared:

Besides Thành Chung, Huỳnh Tấn Tài (Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh) is also suspended for round 5 after receiving a red card in the previous match against SLNA.
