Winning the first match, the Japanese coach of Hanoi FC believes they can compete for the championship.
Acting coach Yusuke Adachi believes Hanoi Club can reignite their chances to compete for the 2025/26 V-League title following their 2-1 win over Đông Á Thanh Hóa in round 5 of the LPBank V-League 2025/26.
"Conceding early wasn’t a major problem because we had enough time to execute our game plan. Naturally, it would have been better if we had prevented the early goal.
We generated numerous scoring opportunities, despite initially facing challenges against Thanh Hóa’s tactics. Once we adapted to the match’s pace, everything gradually settled.

The Hanoi players never lost their confidence. If they keep playing like this, that confidence will slowly turn into conviction. With each successful match, the team will regain belief in their championship aspirations," Yusuke Adachi said during the post-match press conference on the evening of September 26 at Hàng Đẫy Stadium (Hanoi).
Meanwhile, midfielder Hai Long stated: "We entered the match under significant pressure. Luckily, the entire team fought with full effort and, most importantly, secured the 3 points as targeted. This win is crucial for Hanoi Club’s forthcoming journey.
When we were behind, we became a bit anxious. However, after halftime, the coaching staff communicated and motivated the team to push harder. We believed that scoring one goal would lead to another, and as planned, we achieved it.
I think not only myself but all players maintained a 100% fighting spirit, especially during these tough times. Today’s 3 points are a well-earned reward for Hanoi Club’s determination."
