Manchester United’s new Old Trafford stadium, valued at £2 billion, is facing significant issues, likely requiring a redesign.

Manchester United is very likely to remove the enormous roof that sparked much debate in the new stadium design, following the introduction of alternative options.

In March, Manchester United announced plans to build a modern stadium with a 100,000-seat capacity, costing approximately £2 billion, in partnership with the famous architectural firm Foster + Partners. The most notable aspect of the design was a roof likened to a "giant umbrella," giving the stadium a unique silhouette. According to the architects, the three roof supports represent the Red Devils' trident and the handle found on the club’s badge.
